Bramble Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Located in Sheringham, close to Beeston Common with its abbey ruins and renowned Priory Maze and Garden, this renovated cottage has a cosy woodburner and small secluded outside seating area, the perfect bolthole for a couple or small family all year round.Ground Floor, with front door leading into a small porch, leading into the Kitchen: 2 ring electric hob and microwave/combination oven, fridge/freezer, small washing machine, separate microwave. Traditional steep stair case. Door into: Sitting room: with woodburner and TV.
Traditional steep stair case leading to first floor small landing, with door to double bedroom with double bed and TV. Door to: Bunk room with single bed on the bottom and single bed on top (suitable for children only). Door to family shower room: walk in shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside: Separate secluded gravelled area with seating (please note that this is the only outdoor space belonging to the property). Shared driveway with allocated parking space.
Please note: Traditional steep stair case. Fitted stair gate. 1 x small dog permitted at ÂŁ20.00 per week. This property has an additional ÂŁ20.00 per week applied to it to cover the rising utility charges. Iron and table top ironing board available. Please provide your own logs if wood burner is required. Location: beach 0.6 miles, local shop a 2-minute stroll. Train station a 10-minute walk. Sheringham Golf course 15-minute walk. Clean,but!

The property we stayed in was very clean and first impressions were good, however, we found a number of things that made life difficult! The stairs
we were informed were steep, but it was more like climbing a ladder and with a small landing, we felt the stairs were dangerous.Shower
 no slip mat, again making the possibility of a fallWhat I would call essential items
loo roll, handwash or soap, washing up liquid, all had minimal amounts, if this is to be the case, it should be stated in the literature so people can decide before booking!I felt stating that the ‘cottage’ had been advertised as in the countryside when it is in fact on a main road, and with floor to ceiling windows we felt we couldn’t lift the blinds at all!!Wish I’d taken more photos!!

Lovely little getaway

The cottage is small but beautifully formed. Very clean and everything you need provided for. Close to lovely walks, local shop and the beach. Staircase steep but mangeable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great little property

A great little cottage really convenient for shops, railway and other local attractions. High street and railway within walking distance, plus a Tesco supermarket, so everything you need close by. If you have a dog, there is a park just across the road and walking trails close by. The cottage is quite small and the stairs are very steep with narrow steps. Going up isn't so bad, but coming down you need to be sure footed. Really comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen, not that I go beyond tea and toast when I'm on holiday! We didn't find the bed that comfortable, but that's down to personal choice. The one down side to be aware of is getting out of the dedicated parking spot if you are driving. The cottage is on a main road and the view getting out of the driveway is hindered by vans parking along the road. Caution is required. I wouldn't recommend this property for small children because of the stairs and being on a main road. Please note that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage, you need to go across the parking area, so you can't just let the dog,.or children out without some supervision. But, it's a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

My stay at Bramble Cottage

The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. The heating and hot water system is good and the kitchen appliances are new. The green opposite the cottage is great for the early morning dog walk and town is just a 10 mins walk. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cosy cottage, great location

Cottage location is ideal with car parking yet near to bus and train routes, supermarket, shops and of course the beach. Upgraded seating in the lounge since last year made a big difference although the very steep staircase still tests the agility of those who are slightly less mobile.

Great little cottage

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. Yes it is small and the stairs are steep but it was everything we could of needed for a lovely 2 weeks stay. As mentioned the stairs are very steep so not good for people with mobility issues or who are unsteady on their feet but it didn’t really cause us any problems. Perfect location and added bonus of the car parking. Would definitely book again.

Compact and well equipped cottage

Cottage was in a convenient location with supermarket, restaurants,pubs,trains and buses all close at hand. Some noise from the nearby road and staircase was indeed of the steep variety but overall a great place to stay for the week. The details said no WiFi but there was actually a very good WiFi connection at the cottage.

Cosy cottage

We had a lovely stay. Easy walk into Sheringham town & sea front. You can either catch the steam train or main line train so no need to use the car all week.
