The cottage is small but beautifully formed. Very clean and everything you need provided for. Close to lovely walks, local shop and the beach. Staircase steep but mangeable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay, would recommend it to anyone. We did have to buy our own wok as the frying pan etc were not family size but otherwise a wonderful experience.

Great Little Cottage

A lovely, well equipped little cottage in a great location. Every thing needed is provided plus a few extras. Great for dog owners as walks on the common are literally on the doorstep. Also bus services within a few yards so equally suitable for anyone who doesn't have or doesn't want to us their own transport plus only a 5-10 minute walk to the station.

Lovely stay

Nice cosy cottage - small but had everything we needed as a family of four (children aged 11&13 probably not suitable/ enough space for older children). Good location and clear, friendly communication from agency.

Bramble Cottage

Very nice cottage,Very well equiped.Location was good short walk to the High street.Pub across the road serves very good food and drink. Also Newsagent/Convenience shop very close.Only reason I gave a 4 for comfort was the very steep staircase.

Great Little Cottage

This is a great little cottage. So handy and yet away from the hustle and bustle. The allocated parking space is a huge bonus. The traffic noise can be a bit annoying at times but the great location and convenience of the property make up for it. Ideal for those with a dog as walks on the common are literally on the doorstep.

Cosy cottage

Cosy cottage, very well equipped. Good location near the centre of Sheringham and as a base for visiting North Norfolk. Downsides were the busy road as it is on a main road and the size of the second bedroom. It says it sleeps 4 but should be specified two adults and 2 small children as the bunk beds were tiny. Also the stairs were narrow and steep but we were already told that.

Cosy little cottage

We had a lovely stay at Bramble cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent, a short walk to the main strip of Sheringham. Pub and local shop very close. Cute little courtyard to sit and enjoy the sunshine and parking at the side of the property. The stairs were very steep, not ideal for small children, and the bunk beds were quite small in size but it didn't affect our stay as our children were older. Lovely property for couples and we will definitely be returning to bramble cottage with our family. Keys cottages were amazing updating us with all the relevant information we needed for our stay. Customer service was excellent and booking process was straight forward with a £50 refundable deposit. Our future trips to Norfolk will be booked through Keys. Thank you for an enjoyable holiday.

A nice stay in Bramble Cottage

Nice cottage, excellent location.Ideal place to get the bus from across the road to Cromer etc.Handy little shop opposite Stairs are a problem in cottage, very steep. Nice lounge, very comfortable. Cushions on chair and sofa would be added bonus. Not sure what is the matter with fridge, but door got hot and milk and other things went off. Would advise getting a cutlery drawer as didn't like cutlery sitting on window sill. But all in all it was a good stay.

Family vacation

The cottage was really homely and had everything we needed.the stairs are really steep, my husband came down them backwards! I did see silverfish in the smalk bedroom but we didn't sleep in there anyway. One downside was being on a main road, if the windows were open it was very noisy. I wish the garden was attached to the house as having a dog meant we couldnt let him out but the Common was across the road anyway. Id recommend for couples only as space is at a premium. Location was 10 min walk to town so that was great

Pleasant but....

The cottage is really cute but would benefit from a deep clean. Lots of mould round the windows which is not good health wise. Few missed cobwebs not a problem...though it made me wonder what else had been missed that was less visible. Also....never stayed ANYWHERE where at least ONE toilet roll was not provided.

Dirty and small

Although advertised as small, this cottage was tiny. Not suitable for 4 people to stay comfortably. One stall was broken so we couldn't all sit around the table, Would have been a struggle with young children. The property was poorly cleaned on arrival and there was strong evidence with dog hair and the smell, of the dog that had been there before us.

Smells

Hi we stopped at Bramble cottage which overall was lovely, however that was after we had brought our own air fresheners. I know pets do smell but perhaps to have a little more of this available, plug ins etc might just mush out the smells. Also the carpets and sofas could do with a bit of a deep clean as they do have a number of stains on them from what it looks like as little accidents from the dogs. I know these cant be helped and some people can clean up better but perhaps to have some carpet cleaner to remove the stains just as they happen would be a benefit.

Clean,but!

The property we stayed in was very clean and first impressions were good, however, we found a number of things that made life difficult! The stairs…we were informed were steep, but it was more like climbing a ladder and with a small landing, we felt the stairs were dangerous.Shower… no slip mat, again making the possibility of a fallWhat I would call essential items…loo roll, handwash or soap, washing up liquid, all had minimal amounts, if this is to be the case, it should be stated in the literature so people can decide before booking!I felt stating that the ‘cottage’ had been advertised as in the countryside when it is in fact on a main road, and with floor to ceiling windows we felt we couldn’t lift the blinds at all!!Wish I’d taken more photos!!

Short last minute accommodation

I really do not like being negative . I was advised that the owners need to know ,as probably unaware . On arrival, we were initially pleased ,private parking a bonus. Bed was small double but very comfortable to be honest . Lounge cosy and clean ,visible dog hair (appreciate difficult to get out of carpets)dusty blinds and a piece of blind missing on the side window ,sills and windows needed cleaning skirting boards dark with dust and marks. Kitchen utensils,I washed before using, oven needs a good clean .Smoke alarm went off even when I did toast . Bathroom needed attention to again woodwork and shower tray . All in all just needs a thorough clean through. Still enjoyed our break in Sheringham .

Great Location

We had a fabulous long weekend at Bramble Cottage in Sheringham. The cottage is in a fantastic location for all the local attractions and facilities. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the railway are all only a short walk away. There is a lovely park across the road and lots or walking trails, perfect if you have a dog with you. The cottage itself is great, small, but everything you need. The stairs are steep and the steps are narrow. OK to go up, but coming down could be a challenge if you have mobility issues. For this reason, I personally wouldn't recommend the cottage for small children. Also note that the garden is not immediately accessible from the property, you need to walk across the parking space. Therefore, you cannot just open the door and let the dog out or let children play unattended. The cottage is also on a busy main road. I would also note that there can be problems driving out of the allocated parking space as vans parked along the road can restrict the view, so caution is required coming out onto the main road. However, none of those things were major issues and we had a great time.

Great little property

A great little cottage really convenient for shops, railway and other local attractions. High street and railway within walking distance, plus a Tesco supermarket, so everything you need close by. If you have a dog, there is a park just across the road and walking trails close by. The cottage is quite small and the stairs are very steep with narrow steps. Going up isn't so bad, but coming down you need to be sure footed. Really comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen, not that I go beyond tea and toast when I'm on holiday! We didn't find the bed that comfortable, but that's down to personal choice. The one down side to be aware of is getting out of the dedicated parking spot if you are driving. The cottage is on a main road and the view getting out of the driveway is hindered by vans parking along the road. Caution is required. I wouldn't recommend this property for small children because of the stairs and being on a main road. Please note that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage, you need to go across the parking area, so you can't just let the dog,.or children out without some supervision. But, it's a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
