This was such a great place, one of our favorites cabins ever. Beautiful place back in the woods and a short drive to Lassen NP. Great little amenities that made us feel right at home...we loved the attention to detail with the small little snacks and such. There is a convenience store in Shingletown that has basic supplies, also a cafe at Manzanita Lake. Thanks!

Nice place and quiet

Check in was simple. We loved that the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled making it easy to find kitchen items. Had a group of deer come through the yard with two fawns. Was nice to watch them.

Very comfortable and cozy stay in an amazing property. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay. Getting to the house was simple and very accessible from the highway. Large and spacious house in the woods with a fire pit that we all enjoyed while we took night photography at the night. The best part is that the house is so close to Lassen so we were able to explore the park to our heart’s content. Internet was fast and reliable too.

Fantastic nature retreat

The cabin is well built and well stocked - we really appreciates all the labels on the cabinets in the kitchen, in addition to the s'mores kit and snack basket and well stocked pantry and cooking materials. We saw plenty of wild life and the host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this getaway!

Perfect cabin in the woods

We had an amazing time at this perfect cabin. Everything we could imagine was at hand including fun games outside, a new grill, hammock, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on away from home. Everything is new and pristine. The decor is charming and fun. And you can’t beat being visited by does and cute fawns each day. It’s a quick drive to Lassen and Burney, and the hosts are wonderful with suggestions. You’ll have a great time!

Communications with Shelley excellent, and she was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The wifi worked very well.
