Found out after it already booked that there wasn't ANy rooms that weren't dog rooms. Even though I am allergic we went to check the room in hopes it would be decent but the hall had the smell of a dairy barn that I remember from my childhood. The elevator carpet was the worst I have ever seen. The room was small and felt dingy.. The bathroom need repairs. Just seemed shabby. I'm assuming the good ratings from this hotel are from dog owners and they are happy with the dog biscuits on the counter. Not all pet owners are amazing and deworm, detick, descabie, deflea their pets and get their shots . We left the room even though we had to pay for it anyway and went across the road to another motel. They only allowed dogs in a section not the whole motel. I didn't want to spend the night in a kennel. If you have dogs this is the place for you although I've never understood why responsible pet owner would expose their dog to so many things that are bad for their health.They are less stressed at home with a sitter.

Our hotel does not smell like a dairy barn!!! The last time there was a pet in the room (228) was on Jan 1st. When we clean a pet room, we put in an ionizer for 1 hr; we use a black light to locate pee from the pet; use My Pet Peed to get rid of the enzymes, so the next pet will not pee in that spot; then we clean and disinfect the room. If the guest would have asked us for a room that has not had a pet in it, we would have accommodated that.

I was on a cross country drive and just wanted to get off the road after making it through Wyoming so Sidney was the place. I checked in and headed next door to Applebee's and when I returned my room was cozy and comfy and I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good in the morning and then I was wished a safe journey by the front desk staff. Everything was clean and quiet and convenient.
