Great hospitality and lovely accommodations
My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our stay at La Residence Blanc. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We liked that this hotel was owned by a Cambodian family and it's clear their focus is on their guests. The facilities were also beautiful - from the relaxing pool in the center of the property to the spacious rooms with comfy beds and a lovely shower and bath. The rooms were simple but we both felt like it was a treat to stay in them. The staff helped us arrange an English-speaking guide and tuk tuk driver for Angkor Wat, made reservations for us at a few local restaurants, helped us arrange an in-room couple's massage (only $17 each for 1 hour!), and had tuk tuks out front at-the-ready for any exploring we wanted to do around Siem Reap (it was only a 5-10 minute ride to everywhere we wanted to go in town). All of these small extras made our stay so relaxing! Coming from someone that over-analyzes a lot of different options and has high standards, I'd strongly recommend this place. The only point of feedback I'd give them is to make sure the staff understands more about bookings made on HomeAway, as this was a bit confusing to some at check-in and check-out.
