This property say that they are “SG Clean” but they are not. This place was so disgusting that we only spent a few hours there until we found another hotel. The mattresses, bedsheets, and everything were disgusting. The bedsheets were super old, with stains, and hairs! The mattress and pillows were dirty and spelled like other people’s sweat. The towels were unwashed and also smelled like sweat. There were also cockroaches and hairs, a lot of hairs even in the floor. They did not even bother to clean the room prior our arrival. Safe yourself and book somewhere else. I’m not a picky person, but this hotel was extremely dirty and hygienic, especially due to Covid.

Basic amenities, bed was not comfortable as we could feel the spring through the mattress, no bedside table and power socket was damage and not replaced, hence down with only 1 power outlet.

Staffs are great!!!! That’s their differentiation! If you looked at the value for the price paid, I think they did a great job coaching their staffs to be soOooo friendly and polite to guests. Loving the parking area too! Learn to appreciate little things people do instead of magnifying the flaws, the world would’ve been a much wonderful place. ✌ I’m learning to practice that more 😊

Uh..., not again.

It's totally for local people. The towel smelled bad . No room clean, no hairdrier, no Internet LAN for each room(a wifi router is set at the front) Plus, the part of the hotel was under construction and it was very noisy from the morning to evening.

As mentioned before too oldest & worst conditions hotel strictly don’t recommend online, as a agency have keep double check each hotel conditions and update online, if not there will be trouble to purchasers and affected our trip happiness, especially with family members. Lao Ming Cosmoland

Lovely people, breakfast included turned out to be toast and margarine, tea and coffee. No fruit or cereal. Air conditioning very average for such a hot place, even asked for a pedestal fan but made no difference. Bathrooms need updating.

The Lai Ming Hotel is a budget property in Gaylang, Singapore. It delivers what it promises to its guests and does so with a smile. You get what you pay for in this life. Poor One-Star Hotel - Uncomfortable Stay

1. It is a one-star hotel not three-star as advertised by some travel agents. 2. No shower curtain. 3. No ceiling fan; it takes a while to cool with the air conditioner. 4. No Elevator; need to carry your luggage through the steep stairs. 5. Towels, Bed Sheets and blankets worn out. 6. Cockroaches, Ants and bugs in the room. 7. Hotel towards Geylang Road but on Aljunied Road / area but near to its MRT station; the environment is not good at all. 8. Very old building and poor upkeep.

Hotel not up to minimum standard.

The room was stink, the bed was stained, the bathroom bath tub was rusted, the carpet was dirty, and smell of cigarette all over the hotel. The positive side is the area close to all eatery, Chinatown and the staffs are OK. Other than that I would not even stay if its for free. No more. Thanks!

Not suitable for families

Bugs in toilet, broken bed frame with protruding nails...not exactly what you need for family stay. No lifts so if your room is on upper floor (which hey say all family rooms are located) and you have kids and luggages, tough luck! Airconditioning is not powerful enough, wifi speed is 10x slower than my 4G mobile phone. Only good thing I can say for this hotel, is free parking and its location, otherwise don't try this hotel unless you're a tough backpacker.
