The lady looking after our Om was exceptional. My wife was ill and she did everything she could to make her feel more comfortable. Thanks to Jessica. The people at reception and concierge were also very good.

Nice hotel but room for improvement

The hotel itself is very impressive on the outside and the public areas are lovely too. We stayed in the rooms on the club level. We were meant to have priority check in and check out on level 21 but it was closed on both occasions. The rooms are okay but feel like they need an update as there is wear to the bedroom furniture and also in the bathroom. The free mini bar had coconut water and iced chrysanthemum tea along with a packet of nuts and dried guava. Only the iced tea was replaced on the 2nd day. The bed is comfortable and big but the pillows weren’t great. Good soundproofing between rooms. We tried breakfast on both the level and ground floor. The quality of the food on the level seemed better than the ground floor, although there was less choice, and was less chaotic. We weren’t impressed with cocktail evening. The food was very strange and most of it was tasteless. Sliced tomato and olive sandwich!? The spicy chicken wings were nice though. The hotel is in a great location. The area is good to walk to Chinatown and also has an underground station directly across the road or the maxwell station is 10 minute walk away. There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Everytime I stay in Singapore, I defenetely chose this hotel. The room is clean and neat with slight aloma scent. The staffs are very nice. This time I stayed there with my son. It is located in a very handy position in Singapore. Very close by to everything, every suburb. It is quiet and the facilities are very comprehensive. This is our second time stay, and great work as usual by the staff.

Good spot. Downstairs restaurant food was unexciting. Breakfast for two was quoted as $ 60.0 for two on asking for this it was quoted as $91.0 lus tax!

Inconsiderate arrangement and service

I booked 1 club room for 4 nights and 1 standard room for 3 nights in this hotel for my parents, my sister and I. As my parents left one day earlier than my sister and I, we changed the standard room to club room on the last night. It was insane that they only reserved one breakfast for the last day ! When I asked reception of both breakfast restaurant on 21/F and 1/F , both of them requested me to add on one more breakfast if I could like to have breakfast together with my sister! The reason was that I marked only one adult in the last night booking for exactly the same room like I booked for my parents for the previous 3 nights !!!! It was insane. The arrangement was inflexible with an unacceptable reason. It ruined my morning plan, which I had a early flight. Also, after I changed my room to club room, there was a dead cockroach sitting in the middle of rooms corridor.
