Only for a lone traveller

The best thing about this hotel is the location I do not believe I warrants a 3 star rating because the rooms are too small and I would have not stayed if I was travelling with a partner.

It was a let down

Rather dirty especialy the bathroom bed like concrete and service well there was none we asked for directions to money changers and guy at reception shrugged his shoulders and says don't know somewhere out there and point to street. Chinatown itself beautiful

Heart Hotel

We had an excellent stay in Santa Grand Hotel, we liked a quite one, simple and room services.It is accessible and at the heart of the city, in fact I recommended it to my relatives and friends for their stay when they ever visit Singapore in the near future.

More than adequate

I and my mother stayed overnight in separate rooms at this hotel in August 2015. We paid approximately $60 Autralian dollars for each single room. The room sizes were small, the same as I have found in one other cheap hotel in Singapore. The bathroom was very small as well, with the toilet and the shower extremely close together. However, the room and the toilet/shower were clean and were adequate for an overnight stay. This hotel is in a sort of red light district, with several massage parlours next to this hotel and down this street. I rate it 4 out of 5 for an overnight stay.

In the heart of Chinatown

Right in the heart of Chinatown, it is an ok hotel. Facilities were basic and my single room was very small. But it did the job, the bed was comfy and the air con worked well.

Best in china town

I stayed at Santa grand for 3nights I feel very comfortable because 1st one is the excellent location MRT just walk a minute the second one is chains market shaping centre because Singapore is very expensive and if you check china town you definitely say the China town is cheap and third one is food steer and about hotel management is good very cooperative night shift also by all means Santa grand is excellent

Cheap but decent in a GREAT location

A solid value. Dirt cheap but decent. No shared bathrooms. Air Con only goes down to 18. I prefer 16. Also, adult websites are blocked. Same with gambling sites. So you have to have a VPN. This is not the case with other hotels in the area. Location in the heart of Chinatown is fantastic.

Excellent stay

Staff were friendly and helpful. They also offer discounted tickets to attractions. Location was in the heart of Chinatown and literally 2 min away from the MRT. The location is very central to many different attractions and so close to Sentosa Island. I would definitely recommend it to any traveller looking for a great location and affordable rates.
