Leave your “blues” behind at Blue Bay! Our apartment, The Hill #04, is available for rent here at the Triple Tree Resort in the Pool Building. Blue Bay is a spacious, hilly, lush, and secure resort near Willemstad, on the Otrabanda side. From the balcony, you can look out over a tropical landscape toward the sea. The large swimming pool, which belongs to the resort, lies right at your feet.

The white sandy beach and the azure-blue sea are within walking distance. Our apartment consists of a large living room with an open kitchen and a small entryway with a separate toilet. Adjacent to the living room is a spacious bedroom with a bathroom and a walk-in closet. The living room and bedroom are equipped with air conditioning. The living room features a large sliding door leading to the terrace, where a ceiling fan keeps the air cool. There is also a large portable fan in the apartment. The apartment has a 220-volt electrical system, so standard Dutch plugs can be used. Of course, there is a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

The apartment is stylishly decorated in a tropical style with blue-green tones and woodwork. The living room and kitchen are separated by a slatted partition. In the living room, there is a lounge sofa facing the television and another facing the outdoors. The kitchen includes all the appliances and amenities needed for daily use, such as a full-size refrigerator with a water and ice dispenser and a freezer compartment, an electric stovetop, a combination oven-microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, and a Nespresso machine. Pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, glassware, and silverware are provided, as well as dish towels and hand towels in coordinating colors. We strive to ensure that the kitchen is stocked with a few basic items, such as oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, various spices, hand soap, and cleaning supplies. The tap water on Curaçao is safe to drink. You can eat at the small bar in the kitchen or on the balcony. The kitchen adjoins the hallway, which features a separate toilet and a large sliding-door cabinet containing, among other things, the washing machine from the zicht.In n the bedroom, behind the king-size box-spring bed, there is a workspace, which is also separated by a slatted partition. The bathroom and walk-in closet are adjacent to the bedroom. Bath and beach towels are provided here.

We anticipate two guests or, if applicable, a couple with a child. A travel crib and high chair are available upon request. Pets are not allowed

The apartment has ample parking, out of sight. The Centrum supermarket is just a few minutes’ drive away and offers a wide, affordable selection of both well-known Dutch products—such as bread, cheese, chocolate sprinkles, and yogurt—and typical Curaçaoan vegetables, fruit, herbs, fresh fish, and beverages.

Furthermore, from Blue Bay, you can easily reach, for example, the historic center of Willemstad, the beautiful beaches of Westpunt, or the more touristy attractions such as Mango, or Jan Thiel. All over the island, you’ll find fantastic restaurants in the most stunning locations.

Blue Bay itself has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Soak up the sun on a lounge chair on the beach under a palm tree or a palapa. Grab a drink at the bar or order one right from your lounger. In between, cool off in the Caribbean Sea or spend some time snorkeling in the crystal-clear water. With the QR code, which is shared in advance, our guests have free access to the beach and use of the lounge chairs every day of their stay.

On the beach, as well as elsewhere on the resort, there are several restaurants, including Brass Boer Curaçao by Jonnie and Therese Boer—a unique spot to enjoy the most delicious food! Every Friday in the late afternoon, it’s Happy Hour at the Beach Bar, and in the evening there’s regularly live music on the beach, sometimes including a fun disco for the kids. Blue Bay is also a great place for more active pursuits, such as (learning to) dive at the dive school located on the beach or playing a round of golf on the 18-hole golf course. You can also treat yourself to a relaxing massage or a pampering manicure at the small salon on the beach.

From early morning, when you wake up to the song of tropical birds, to the evening with its ever-changing, enchanting sunsets, Blue Bay is the place to be for us! We hope you’ll feel the same way!

Upon arrival, our host Joëlla can arrange for transportation from the airport to the apartment. One of them will hand you the keys there. The utility meter readings will be taken, and any arrangements or details will be discussed. You can contact them during your stay if you need anything, and for longer stays, they’ll arrange for an extra cleaning. It’s also possible to rent a car through her. Upon departure, she’ll handle check-out by appointment.
