The barn is located within a lovely peaceful and tranquil area near the Yorkshire Dales National Park and really allows you the ability to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. On your doorstep you’ll have unforgettable walks and views across the countryside, the barn is near a wooded area that’s perfect for exploring and there are a few pubs and villages not too far away.

Carden Laithe Barn is within driving distance of Skipton, a charming market town nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire, which feels like stepping into a postcard of English countryside charm. Known as the “Gateway to the Dales,” it’s the perfect spot for families and travellers looking for a mix of history, nature, and laid-back vibes. Start your visit with Skipton Castle, a stunningly preserved mediaeval fortress that’s over 900 years old. Kids will love wandering through the maze-like rooms, imagining knights and kings roaming the same halls. Afterwards, take a stroll down the cobbled High Street, where independent shops, cosy cafes, and a vibrant market blend into the town’s friendly atmosphere.

This incredible Yorkshire barn conversion will leave you with incredible memories of a truly wonderful part of the world. Renovated and designed with love, an eye for detail and a flair for design, Carden Laithe Barn is a truly exceptional Yorkshire holiday home.

As you enter the grounds at this rural location you appreciate the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful area. It has private parking and an Electric Vehicle charger ready for your arrival and you’ll be greeted by two large private gardens with wood fired hot tub, sunken seating, a BBQ and outdoor dining area.

On the ground floor you have an ultra-modern dining area that can seat up to 12 as well as a lounge area that has sofas to relax on before extending through to the kitchen and breakfast bar area.

There’s a further lounge area with a large corner sofa, hidden bluetooth speakers and Smart TV as well as a ski-chalet style burner fire. This leads through to the exposed staircase which takes you up to the first floor where there are 4 modern, spacious and light bedrooms with large comfortable beds, and all are ensuite. The fifth bedroom is designed with accessibility in mind, located on the ground floor it is perfect setup for wheel-chair users.
