Hideaway Chalet is an intimate one-bedroom secluded rainforest retreat at Ecoasis Mamiata, perfect for couples seeking romance while still offering space for small families with fold-out beds for little ones.

Tucked beneath a lush rainforest canopy, this private architect-designed chalet sits within the Ecoasis nature sanctuary in the heart of the Tweed Valley. After a gentle 80 m downhill forest walk, you arrive at your secluded hideaway where birdsong and forest breezes replace the noise of everyday life.

Inside, large windows and natural timber create a calm atmosphere that connects you with the surrounding bushland. The queen bedroom features an ensuite with double shower and corner spa bath, overlooking peaceful forest views.

Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area provides space to relax, cook and reconnect. The chalet includes a fully self-contained kitchen with full-size fridge, while the living area opens onto two private balconies surrounded by rainforest.

Enjoy outdoor dining with the gas BBQ, relax on the sun lounges, or simply listen to the sounds of the forest from your treetop retreat.

Hideaway Chalet is designed as a peaceful sanctuary where guests can truly slow down. While there is no mobile reception, the chalet now includes Starlink high-speed WiFi, making it ideal for writing retreats, work-cations or creative escapes.

Comfort features include reverse-cycle air conditioning, TV and DVD player, and beautiful natural surroundings.

Access via an 80 m downhill forest path (not suitable for guests with mobility challenges).

Pets welcome by approval only (85 aud fee). Ecoasis is a wildlife sanctuary and pets must remain indoors or on lead.
