Ideally located with waterway views and nearby public beach access just a short distance away, this home offers the best of both worlds for your beach getaway.

Step inside and you’ll immediately be welcomed by bright, coastal touches and inviting spaces designed for easy vacation living. The open main level features a well-equipped kitchen with bar seating, a dedicated dining area, and a comfortable living space where everyone can gather after a day in the sun. Large windows frame peaceful views of the Intracoastal Waterway and surrounding marsh, creating a relaxed backdrop throughout the home.

Also on the first floor, you’ll find a versatile bedroom with a twin bed and a trundle that can be converted to accommodate different sleeping arrangements.

Upstairs, a spiral staircase leads to additional sleeping spaces, including a spacious primary bedroom and a third bedroom. This level offers a quiet, tucked-away retreat from the main living area—perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach and enjoying a little extra privacy for your group.

Fishing Trip

We had a great time! The pier was perfect for fishing and the close proximity to the ocean was nice. The house was clean and whimsically decorated. There were some technical issues with the TVs (none were working) and there was poison ivy around the parking area. But other than that
 it was a wonderful vacation!!

OK but minimally

Ants, even brought some home as a souvenir. About 1/4 of the window blinds were broken. Goodwill quality kitchen pots and pans. Refrigerator freezer didn’t, soft items from freezer, odd because ice maker made ice it just didn’t dispense it. All of the DVD players were broken, not just the remotes. Many lightbulbs missing or not working. Had tornado warning 1st day, fortunately we were at house to bring plastic deck furniture into house after wind nearly blew it off. Heavier rusted deck furniture didn’t move. Had to store personal kayaks and beach gear upstairs on 1st fl back deck to avoid exposure to street and possible theft. Detector of some kind in master bedroom had no cover, wires exposed, obviously inoperable. Someone needs to remove about 3/4 of random decorations starting with ALL of the tacky stuffed animals. Washer and dryer worked but top of dryer is rusted.

TLC

Overall, the place provided all we needed. This rental is in desperate need of some updating, and upkeep. The refrigerator gets iced over and you have to unplug it to thaw so the fan runs again. The AC upstairs broke but property management came right out within the hour and fixed it. The walkway to the sound is overgrown. Downstairs TV cable never worked. Owners should invest in flat screen TV’S, as the box TV’s are dated. The comforters and sheets were clean and check in was a breeze. Nice big driveway for all cars and a boat.

Needs some TLC

The sound side location was good with close beach access as well. However, this property appears to have been neglected and could really use some TLC. Torn screens on the windows, broken patio furniture, rusted a/c vents and marks all over the walls just to start. We arrived to mildewed shower curtains and unwashed bath mats. I emailed the staff at the rental company for WiFi info which was not provided in the welcome info as indicated and when I finally received a response days later it wasn’t correct. We made the best of it but I would not recommend this listing.

House in poor shape

Poor up keep on house and yard. Junk stored underneath. Decking board nails sticking up, screen torn. House shares 2nd floor deck, not good for dogs. No blind on back door so anyone staying next door could peek in. House needed painting inside badly. Had ants inside on countertops. Beds were without any doubt the worst ones I ever slept on. The spiral staircase to the master bed was hard to climb and descend. TV’s were super small. Had trouble with the master bedroom remote. Loved the Topsail beach area and restaurants.

Great Location

My family and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the property. It's a perfect location and quick access to the beach. Underneath is perfect for hanging a hammock and enjoying the summer breeze.

Great location, outdated interior

The location of this house is really hard to beat. Having the dock on the inter coastal in the back and being right across the street from the beach is awesome. The interior is dated, could have used some updated kitchen utensils such as a regular skillet, tongs, etc. The beds/bedding is also pretty old but the space itself is nice. I also wish it had an outdoor shower, it would have helped cut down on the amount of sand tracked in the house. I would go back if for nothing else than the amazing location.
