Nice historic hotel, quiet position.

Check in was a big difficult, we had to drive back to the restaurant for the key to our room, but that wasn't far. The room was quite nice, with an ensuite, although the shower was very small, the water flow was great. Continental buffet breakfast included in the breakfast room. Very nice outlook. Free use of the bicycles. Free outdoor parking. Shared common rooms.

Beautiful place and cosy hotel

We stayed one night at this pleasant hotel in a very quite and beatiful corner of mid-Sweden. The sorroundings are magnificent and views are very nice with possibilities to strol or bike to differnt nice place in the area. There is very little trafic and much to visit. The room was not large but quite pleasant and the bathroom small but fine. Breakfast was also fine and the dining area pleasant with great views and the possibility to sit outside with the garden in front.

Enkelt äldre men charmigt hotell

Ett äldre men charmigt hotell med fantastiska omgivningar. Lite lyhört men spelade inte så stor roll när vi bara sov en natt. En enkel frukost men allt man behövde fanns. Vi hade tur med vädret och kunde sitta ute och äta med en underbar utsikt över omgivningarna. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Underbar pärla! Nytt område för oss. Synd att det inte fanns cyklar till oss den enda natt vi bodde där. Vore bra att ha några fler att tillgå när man vill cykla ner till Stegeborgs hamnkrog. Alla var upptagna!

Boende på Stegeborg

Vi bodde på hotellet i två dagar. Rummet vi fick var dåligt städat överlag när vi kom dit. Toalett och dusch var inte alls fräsch och dessutom fanns inget varmvatten första dagen/kvällen utan det bjöds på iskall dusch då. Inget reducerat pris för detta och inget gjordes åt problemet, utan vi fick klaga och efter ett dygn var varmvattnet åter. Men för övrigt var hotellet fräscht och snyggt och hade en inbjudande vacker trädgård som kunde utnyttjas där man kunde sitta och njuta i solen dag som kvällstid. Frukosten var bra även om den kanske var av det enklare slaget. Kan tycka att priset för detta boende var väl dyrt med tanke på standard,service och utbud.
