THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

- This house does not have air conditioning, only coastal breezes and fans
- Sleeps 4 max (including children) (King size bed + pull out sofa)
- No smoking is allowed inside any of our properties OR anywhere in the complex
- No pets
-For work from home we always recommend having a hot spot
-Some steps must be taken throughout complex to get to front door and parking. The complex does not have elevators or luggage carts.
-This property is in a condo complex with neighbors all around. We don't monitor construction or noise from neighbors and this should be taken into consideration when booking.
- 1 assigned parking space in gated garage

Located just a short walk to everything including dining, shopping and entertainment, you'll have no problem finding your niche in Solana Beach!

You cannot take in San Diego/Solana any better when your base camp is this wonderful to come back to and relax. Great location, spectacular view, complete with the soothing audio of the crashing waves performing 24/7 to remind you that you are indeed on the shores of the mighty Pacific Ocean. I will be back as soon as possible.

Amazing in every way!

The property is quiet and in a very secure neighborhood. Whole Foods is just down the hill as are several really good restaurants. It overlooks the water - you can safely leave your door open and listen to the waves all night. Internet is very good and strong WiFi. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rental locations - this was definitely one of my favorites!

Beautiful beach views

Loved this condo for my mother in law’s recent visit. She enjoyed how peaceful it was. Right on the ocean and the pool/hot tub is steps away. The stairs to access the beach are an easy 5 minute walk. Everything was clean and updated. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you!

A touch of heavenâŁïž

The place was very clean, furniture was so comfortable & we slept so good. Hearing the beach & watching the ocean as well as the sunrise & sunsets were amazing. We felt safe and people on the beach were so nice, Life guard Gus was so nice,too. It was perfect. We had one hiccup but they addressed it right away. We truly loved our stay & will be back again. Unpleasantly Surprised

Week prior to check-in we were informed the pool would be under repair during our stay but arrangements were made to use the pool next door so we continued with our trip as planned. Upon arrival we were unpleasantly surprised with a sign under the thermostat explaining that they didn’t have air conditioning because it wasn’t needed in their special ‘microclimate’. Instructions were to leave our doors open all night and shades drawn all day, so basically we had to close off the beautiful view we traveled across country to enjoy and sleep in an unlocked and fully exposed first floor condo in an neighborhood we were completely unfamiliar with. This was very unsettling and completely dampened our entire vacation experience. The listing should include this detail to travelers, AC is an expectation when renting a beachfront property, and the lack of one should be included in the listing as ‘AC-none’. We were very hot eating lunch in our room and so very uncomfortable sleeping without any sense of security all night. Will definitely opt for a resort vacation from now on.

A truly relaxing retreat by the ocean

We love the view to the open ocean, inside and outside the condo. The neighborhood is quiet except for the sound of ocean, and the beach is minutes walking away ... We also enjoyed the good food in the restaurants near by. The condo itself is clean with modern amenities with plenty of towels and beach gear for the guests to use.

Wonderful Stay!

My wife and I had a great stay at this property! The unit was just as the pictures showed and was stocked with the essentials. It's in a great location that was central to everything we did during our trip. Also, you can't beat the views. There are things that can make or break a stay. Those for us, are the bed and shower pressure. Both were perfect! At least for our preferences. Our only negative would be how hot the unit can get in the evening when the sun starts to set and shines into the unit. Which is no fault to the owner. We found that, in the evening, keeping the blinds closed and having the fans going at all times kept the unit very comfortable. We arrived in the evening and the blinds were open, which showcased the great view/sunset but, the unit was very hot. It may just be a September thing but, definitely not a deal breaker and easily avoidable if you follow the steps I described. Overall, we loved our time at this property and will absolutely consider staying here again the next time we come to the San Diego area!

Comfortable Condo

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was well maintained and in working order. It had plenty of dishes and towels available. The bed was comfortable. There were a lot of steps from the parking garage up and then down to the room. So if you have trouble with stairs this is probably not a good room for you. It worked well for us for quick Labor Day trip to the beach.

Perfect location

The place was in a great location! The view from the patio was gorgeous and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Close to so many places to explore and the nearby restaurants were great for the no-cooking nights. The space is definitely compact, but the owners thought of everything that might be needed. This is definitely on our return list.

Perfect location, excellent place!

We stayed here May, 2021. Communications with the owner were perfect and fast. They are very attentive and the description of the unit was completely accurate. The location is amazing and we loved leaving the slider open to hear the waves and feel the nice ocean breeze. Everything worked perfectly in the unit. We couldn't say enough positive about this place - if you are looking for a great place to stay in Del Mar/Solana Beach, this is the place!!!

Can’t wait to go back

This is an amazing one BR condo right on the bluff overlooking the Pacific. Well equipped with cooking gear and comfortable furniture. Good for entertaining small family group. Steps down to beach. Great surfing spot to either watch or join in. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would definitely go back. Managers were very responsive.
