Great place and hosts! Had everything we needed and extremely comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in Soldotna.
Great stay. Better than anticipated. Owner responded to messages very quickly. House is located in a quiet neighborhood. Short ride to places to eat, gas, and grocery stores. Scenic 1-1/2 hr. ride to Homer and 1-3/4 hr. to Seward from the house. Would definitely stay again.
We were very cozy and comfortable in this charming house. Our daughter loved her bedroom for it's roomy bed and warm covers. Although, my wife and I didn't quite fit in our bed (we sleep in a king at home), she enjoyed the couch which we nicknamed the "secret" bed. She found the orange throw and gray blanket warm and cozy. During the day, we enjoyed the comfortable couch when watching our shows. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer as we had laundry. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook a couple of meals. I enjoyed the selection of coffee and the keurig machine. Most important of all, my wife and daughter did not have any allergy problems at all during our stay. My wife also loved exploring the neighborhood. She would take long walks. One day she walked all the way to town. The location is perfect as the house is close to everything (Safeway, coffee place, restaurants). The host was thoughtful checking up on our stay and making sure we have what we need. She also recommended some local events happening and places to eat. She was clear and concise with her communication with me since this vacation was planned a year ahead. Some suggestions for improvements. There was not enough storage space for our clothes as there was not closet and the chest of drawers were full of linen in our bedroom. We moved the linens into my daughter's room where there was extra space and a hanging area for clothes. We appreciated the barbecue to cook fish.We will stay here again.
This property is so beautiful and just what we needed. Fully stock with everything you need! We had a short stay, and we would stay again in a heart beat!
Super cute property, huge living room for getting our family together watching movies at night. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, coffee and fixings, even oatmeal options. The bed was extremely comfortable and all rooms were nicely sized. I highly recommend staying here, we had a great stay!!
I have been going to Alaska for 3 years. Each time, this home was our favorite place. Itâs centrally located where supermarket and restaurants are nearby. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked; we made dinner almost daily. The house clean and well maintained. We will definitely go back next year!
Travelled to Soldotna for 2 weeks for my wife's medical procedure. Needed something convenient to the hospital and town while also accommodating her physical limitations after procedure. This property was perfect! Property manager was a joy to work with and the listing was even better than advertised!
Stayed one night and everything was great. It's on the smaller side but for a family of five it's still way better than squeezing into a hotel room. The neighborhood seemed pleasant enough with the hospital around the corner and a grocery store down the road. I would gladly stay again if needed.
This place is a great alternative to hotels. Stayed for a week for work. Ability to cook, do laundry and walk the neighborhood is such a plus. And way cheaper than a local hotel with a kitchen option.
I stayed here with my 10-year old son after fishing all day on the Kenai River and we really enjoyed the house. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We stayed in this charming property for two nights while exploring the area. My daughters loved playing in the yard and we enjoyed the deck. The property was clean and had plenty of towels (which is rare)! We would definitely return. Holly was great with communication and gave some great dining recommendations.
This place was so great with location being perfect, the host was responsive and the place was very clean and well suited for our stay. A definite must stay again.
