“Bella Vista” Overlooking Beautiful Flathead Lake with Great Panoramic Views!

Only a stone’s throw from the shores of Beautiful Flathead Lake, sits “Bella Vista” Designed and completed in 2010.

Our exceptional home offers some of the loveliest views in the valley. This top-quality home sits on 2.8 acres and is nicely landscaped with shrubs, trees, and manicured lawns. It is Very Private, but you will appreciate how easy it is to get to Kalispell, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and Glacier National Park.

Wake up in the master suite to a beautiful sunrise spilling over the Swan Mountain Range, with the sun shimmering off the lake surface. Our Spacious Master Bedroom and walk-in-closet is on the main floor, with a “Pottery Barn” wicker sleigh bed. You will feel like a King and Queen in the massive elegant travertine tiled bathroom with a custom shower and a large soaking tub for two.

You will enjoy the main floor of our home as it is very open and cheerful with lots of large windows. The striking Kitchen is well outfitted with cooking at home in mind even though we have quite a few great restaurants in the valley.
Our central vacuum system makes it is a breeze to keep the beautiful hand scraped Hickory Floors clean which are in the kitchen, living room, dining room and master bedroom. Our home is tastefully decorated and is a great place for family gatherings. Next to the master suite is a guest bedroom and full bath that is perfect for children. It is appointed with two hand-carved single beds. Curl up in our cozy living room and watch a movie from our 42 HD Flat Screen T.V. or just gaze at the stupendous alpine-glow sunsets.

Downstairs you will find a very spacious family room with its own full kitchen complete with granite countertops and alder cabinets. Your guests will enjoy the two wonderfully roomy bedroom suites. Last, but not least, is the Forth-of-July room, an ideal retreat room for the person who likes to be out of the way or just sleep in. You can play ping pong, watch a movie or just sit in front of the Hearthstone gas heater enjoying the views. Our home has central heating and cooling and has a very good air filter for the allergy sensitive folks. With two hot water tanks and a circulating pump you will have lots of hot water quickly.

“Bella Vista” was built by us, Robin and Patti Graham, home builders (Rivendell Builders) and authors of the books “Dove” and “Home is the Sailor”. We designed the home to take advantage of the wonderful views of the lake and mountains as they are Truly Magnificent!

Great location, views, and layout for family and friends. We enjoyed our three week stay, Bella Vista was the perfect base for our explorations. We loved Big Fork, Lakeside, whitefish and made several trips to the park. Hope we can return sometime in the future.

Having been born and raised in Kalispell, I can say that I do miss the view of the mountains I grew up with but the view from this property brings back great memories. The home was clean, organized, beautiful decorated and welcoming. The views from the first floor and porch of Flathead Lake were very impressive. The home was accessible for our son who is in a wheelchair, first floor bathroom door was big enough for him to get through. The best part of the home was that our extended family could fit and have time together! A week we will not forget.

Exceeded our Expectations!

Our stay at Bella Vista was everything and more than we were hoping for! The space was clean and comfortable for our group of 11. The view was beautiful and the location was perfect. Glacier National Park was about a 45 minute drive from the house and it was absolutely incredible! We also loved kayaking on Flathead lake and admiring the 'rainbow rocks' on shore. The mountain coaster in Somers was a lot of fun for the kids (kind of a short ride for the price, but still fun!) We loved being able to relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare most of our meals at the house. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Wonderful week

We had 2 families of 5, the layout was perfect for togetherness and also still allowing for privacy if needed. The house was extremely clean....maybe the cleanest VRBO listing I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable accomodations. Our primary goal was Glacier National Park, the location was a bit of a drive for different parts of GNP, but was always nice to come back to a clean comfy place to relax after a long day on the road. We rented a boat on Flathead Lake.....absolutely wonderful, would recommend to anyone. Only hesitation would be the water was quite cold at 56 degrees. The house was well equipped with cooking supplies and lots of bear spray on site. We actually were able to return the ones we purchased and able to use the ones left behind.....luckily we did not have to use it, although we did see grizzlies on our hikes. Would recomment this listing to anyone looking for a well maintainted property with wonderful lake views and beautiful sunrises in the mornings.

Excellent place for family gatherings

The host was great and has thought of every last detail to truly make this a home away from home. We stayed a week with our adult sons and their families (5 children under 5). The home has so much to offer, we never felt crowded or on top of each other. There are supplies (possibly left by previous guests) that were available to use and not often found in homes. Sitting on the patio was so relaxing even with the sounds of traffic from the highway below. Great memories were made at Bella Vista!

Wonderful property!

I and members of my immediate and extended family stayed at this property in late May/early June 2024. We were coming to the area for Glacier National Park and the surrounding areas and wanted a base with a view of the mountains a reasonable distance from our activities. This house was a great place for us - with six adults we were grateful for the number of bedrooms/bathrooms and the roomy common areas. The house is clean and quiet. The best thing about it is probably the terrific view of Flathead Lake and the mountains beyond. You will not be disappointed in a stay here.

I highly recommend this property. The views are spectacular. The location is perfectly nestled into the hillside and close to groceries, gas, and coffee shops! This home is CLEAN and cozy. The bedding is wonderful too, and the kitchen is stocked with all of the pots, pans and cooking utensils that you need you to support a family vacation. If you’re not satisfied here

Best vacay home ever!

This was our second stay at Bella Vista this year. The house is so well situated for a perfect adventure in and around Glacier National Park. After days of hiking, horseback riding, brewery-hopping, and alpine sliding, it was always nice to come home to such spacious comfort. The deck with Flathead Lake view includes a hot tub and fantastic grill. We star-gazed and played endless board games, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of extras in the house that make you feel right at home. Communication with owners was without a hitch and we know we shall return!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This home is beautiful, spacious, clean and has the most incredible views! Our family of 9 enjoyed our time here, as it has all the comforts of home! The hosts are great, and even though the A/C system went out on our 3rd day there, Robin & Patti did everything they possibly could to keep us comfortable, by bringing in extra fans! They were even so kind as to leave us gift certificates for a fabulous meal at a local restaurant! Love this home, the views, and the entire area and if we’re ever back in that part of Montana again, we will be staying here!
