Beautiful property with exceptional staff and service. The food was also very very good for a Caribbean resort. I'd highly recommend. My only experiences for improvement : 1) We booked a luxury cottage, which on the website had a beautiful view of the bay. Ours had no view due to obstructing jungle. We asked if we could switch rooms and were promised a response within a day. We never heard back. No issues with not having another room, but not getting back to us was disappointing. 2) Expedia vip was supposed to give us a room upgrade. This wasn't offered and was never explained as to why it wasn't offered. Again, not an issue if not available, but the fact this was never explained was disappointing.

nice quiet spot.. 4 to 7 day max would have been good 11 days far too long. No upgrades , perks etc, service very good all around.

Lovely setting. We were in a villa at a height with a view of the beach and the lagoon below. They have an excellent shuttle service with friendly drivers who take you around the property. It's very hilly and it rained a lot so we needed it. They also have a Butler service which had variable quality. I didn't care for the all white interiors of the villas. The beach is nice and the views are spectacular all over the property. The restaurants were ok - expected more for the price. The spa in the forest was an experience.

Read the reviews/ratings and expected so much more. I travel a lot and have stayed in 5-star resorts all over the world including in the Caribbean. This was one of the most expensive ones I’ve stayed in by far. To start, once the room was booked, most places send a welcome greeting & ask about transportation from the airport..I received nothing. When we did arrive, they took us right to the room. With this being a VIP access hotel, I’m used to the hotel offering an upgrade or explanation of the perks. Nothing. I asked the butler if I would get an upgrade and she said she would get back to me. She never did. I went to the front desk twice and they said they would get back to me. No one did. The perk is only given if there is availability but the fact that no one got back to me says a lot. The room was nice but no wow factor. The breakfast was not that good. And probably the biggest takeaway of my time here is everything is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. From the cab ride, to room service, to lunch, spa, dinner, drinks…it makes no sense why everything is so high. The saving grace to this place is the scenery is beautiful, the staff is nice, shuttle service is a great perk, and the food is good. But the hype isn’t valid. I’ve wanted to go to St Lucia for yrs. I heard good things about it, but not sure I would come back. Well if I did I would try a different resort. Been to the islands a lot and for the price & experience at Viceroy Sugar Beach, it gets a 4/5 from me.
