A beautifully clean, cosy and comfortable cottage. Wonderfully isolated amongst the forest - the garden is a bird lover’s paradise.

Cottage was full of character in an ideal location for bird and wildlife viewing. We even had our own bird hide. Bruny Island was our first stop in Tasmania, and was well worth a visit. Would go back if opportunity arises.

Amazingly relaxing with the birds and pademelon's to keep you company. Well appointed cottage, comfortable bed & great shower! Enjoyed escaping city life.

This is a rustic and charming little cottage in a forest block a couple of kilometres from Lunawanna. It has pretty much everything needed for a comfortable stay, including firewood for a cosy stove in the main living area, a modern gas and electric cooking stove and a most comfortable bed. The outside deck faces north and is a great place to sit with a morning coffee and watch the assorted fauna that visit, from the potoroos to the wrens and red breasted robins. We were so comfortable that we extended our stay to a third night.

The kitchen is much better provisioned than expected, there's an espresso machine and even a rice cooker! We were also pleasantly surprised to have wifi.
