This cabin is located near the Wolf Creek Ski Lodge and nestled beside nearly two million acres of national forest. You will find many outdoor activities within easy driving distance, including skiing and snowboarding at Wolf Creek Ski Area - just 7.5 miles away. Launch a raft on the Rio Grande and experience Class II and III rapids with the more adventurous ones in your group. There are plenty of shops and dining options to keep every guest entertained in this small but vibrant mountain town.

The beds were comfy. The main bedrooms bed is loose by headboard is you try to sit up by it. The washer is super mall, the dryer had to be ran 3xs to dry. Tried contacting support and they never got back to me. But id probably give them another shot.

Okay....

The code to the cabin was put in wrong and we had no service to reach out to anyone. Thankfully after 10 minutes of trying the code, my son accidentally hit the wrong button and figured it out. It is advertised by the river and is not there, we could not sit and enjoy the river from the porch which is what we were looking forward to. The wifi was non existent, we would've reached out for support, but couldn't due to no service so we also couldn't use the TV. We were gone most of the day outside, but it would've been nice for the early morning and evening. The lighting is terrible in the kitchen and dining area. We did a lot of cooking so it was frustrating. The dryer had a smell and took at least 3 rounds to get something dry. The temp control is listed as a thermostat, but there was no air conditioning just heat. We were there when it was over 85 degrees everyday. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The cabin was set back away from other cabins so that was nice. We did use the hot tub, and it was nice after a day of hiking. Someone did come to maintain it while we were staying there. The location great for trails and lakes south of South Fork. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the area, but if we go back, I will look for somewhere different to stay.

We have stayed here a few times and it’s always nice. The only downside this time was when we arrived the cabin smelled horribly strong of some sort of cleaner. It gave us all headaches and made our eyes water. The hot tub was also dirty at the bottom but other than that it was great.

Great for short trip to Wolf Creek

Our favorite part of this cabin is how close it is to Wolf Creek Ski. It’s maybe a 10-15 minute easy drive. The hot tub was warm and ready when we got there. The beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint is that the master bedroom was very cold. There isn’t central heating, so it took a while for the cabin to warm and the master bedroom is tucked away from the sources of heat, so it was a bit chilly. The loft upstairs was warm. Our cabin also did not have the name of the cabin posted (at least not obviously visible) so it was hard to find our cabin when we arrived after dark. Overall, I would stay again. Be aware that the closest town, South Fork, has very few food/shopping options and everything closes by 8:00.

Not warm/cozy but it’s a cabin

Nice cabin but this was by far the least convenient rental experience I’ve had. It appears as though no one checked the property prior to our arrival. The heat was off (it was 8 outside) and only 49 inside after running the one working heater for 12 hours it only reached 57 inside. Pretty uncomfortable the entire stay. The electronic door lock was dead, so we could not check in without calling someone to give us access to the physical keys. They texted me about 10 times while I’m on vacation about the rental. The microwave is broken, two out of three heaters are broken
 onto the good. It’s a nice cabin, with a good location, it was clean and hot tub was nice. Sucks they didn’t take care to prepare it properly so we could have a comfortable temperature inside

Lovely little cabin in the woods

It was lovely we hiked a lot , Pagosa Hot Springs did a little tubing down the Rio Grande! Did a fair amount of hot tubbing in the evening. It’s a beautiful area with lots to do! The cabin was nicely, nestled and felt very private.

Perfect Cabin in the mountains

We love this area and this cabin is tucked away in a perfect spot. Secluded but easy access to the ski area and South Fork. This is the second time staying at these cabins and we just absolutely love it.

Beautiful cabin close to Wolf Creek Ski Area

Everything was perfect. It was very clean and private feeling. The hot tub was great after a long ski day. Great location in between South Fork and ski area and a short drive to Pagosa. We will definitely stay again.

Cabin getaway

Quiet. Beautiful location. Lovely sound of the river. Fishing in the pond. Daily bird and animal watching from private porch. Evenings under the stars in the hot tub. Great and quick response with any questions. Cabin has everything you need! Would return again.

Great Location

Me an my family went to ski/snowboard for a few days at Wolf Creek. This is an amazing location, the cabin is really quaint, and comfortable. It is only about 12 minutes to the ski area on good roads. The hot tub was really nice after a long day on the mountain. I would highly recommend that you bring your own pillows and coffee pot if you like drinking coffee. They have a pot there, but it’s awful. This place is perfect for a family of 4 or 5 and I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful setting, lovely cabin. Please let people know there’s plenty of wood for the wood stove but no fire starter. You’ll need it! It was very cold in the cabin until the heater and wood stove kicked in. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Check in was easy. Absolutely love that they had plenty of good hard wood already split and ready for you. Had a dusting of snow for Thanksgiving, it was beautiful. Enjoyed sitting outside at night by the fire!!

The lights went out

We loved the property. Beautiful spot. The first night there about 10 pm the power went off until about 4 am. No internet service to make any phone calls to get anyone to help us. No candles or flashlights...it was a little stressful. The blankets did not smell clean but hot tub and shower so nice. Hummingbirds on the back porch. It is a nice spot.
