The Tahoe Blu Studio has a queen size bed, small kitchen area with a microwave, stove and mini frig as well a a kitchen table .Located at the historic Washoe motel in South Lake Tahoe. This is a great budget and pet friendly option .Close to Camp Richardson, bike trails, walking distance to Sonny's BBQ, Margaritas and Burger Lounge. This is a Pet friendly studio !
The space
Simple budget pet friendly studio at The Washoe lodge !!! close to ski resorts ,hiking and biking trails as well as many wonderful restaurants and shops. Please be aware there is no office on site and questions and issues may not be addressed after 9pm as we do not operate as a 24hr hotel.

A Step Up from Camping

Location was fine however due to the broken box spring the bed was so loud and uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep much. Our unit was also by the employee room where they were loud most of the day, so don’t plan on taking naps, or having some quiet time at the place. You can hear any step or sound that anyone makes in other units as well. At one point our walls were shaking because the employees were doing laundry. They were even doing laundry at 11:00 pm on Xmas eve so we couldn’t sleep again. They are very cheap with what they provide at the unit. For instance no paper towels, no coffee filters, 2 plates (that’s it), no cutting board, No wine opener. I didn’t think it was worth what I paid.

Bear essential

Bear themed room. Garbage can was full. Someone elses food was in the refrigerator. The freezer was full of old frost ice build up. No paper towels in the towel holder. Bed was old an creaky. Bed was covered with a 3 inch foam mat. No TV. Wifi was skectchy. Bedstand lightbulb was burned out. Parking lot was dirty, lots of pine needles and pine cones all over the place. Not an inviting property. Not acceptable. Fees were ridiculous $ 65 host, VRBO administrative fees $ 85 Tax and fees $ 45. All of.this was MORE then the charge for just this room.
