NOTE: Max occupancy is 14 guests over the age of 5 years. Guests 5 and under do not count towards the occupancy limit. Due to an allergy in our family we are not able to host any animals. If you do bring an animal to our home, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500+ to have the home cleaned by a professional allergen removal company.

Our second home is located in a subdivision of Montgomery Estates. It is located right off Pioneer Trail (we do get street noise on one side of house) so it's easy to head to Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe. The house was remodeled in 2018 and has over 3800 sq ft of living space with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. We are 2 miles from Heavenly, 3 miles from the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. Located nearby are hiking trails and access to Trout Creek.

Our home is a spacious 7BR/4.5BA located right off Pioneer Trail. The main living area has 55" HD TV. YouTubeTV is provided. The first floor has been furnished with all bamboo flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a good sized island and stainless steel appliances. We have a 36" cooktop with chimney hood.

The small deck has a 8 person hot tub with 88 Jets and a waterfall. There is also a propane grill available on the deck. We have a full size pool table with a ping pong table top. We have lots of books for those that like to read and board games for those that like to play. In the dining room, we have a multi-Arcade system that includes 10+ games including Joust, Defender, and Mortal Kombat.

Six of the bedrooms are located upstairs while the last bedroom is converted from our study room on the main floor. All 4 full baths are upstairs while there is only a half bath downstairs. The sleeping arrangements are as follows:

We have 3 exterior cameras located on the property. The cameras have views of the 3 entry points to the home (driveway, front door, back deck). There is one room that guests will not have access to that is used to store our supplies.

We had a great stay at Luke and Sue's beautiful home. The house is more than big enough to accommodate our group of 15 people. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, and of course the hot tub was the talking point. the bedrooms are cozy with comfortable beds and the kitchen is well equipped. Spacious and clean come to mind! Kitchen was well-equipped and there was plenty of parking space for our large group. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was so nice to have TWO master suites. My only complaint was that the beds were not super comfortable and there were not enough blankets to keep warm at night. I would absolutely stay again!

Roomy House Convenient to Heavenly slopes

Lovely home in nice neighborhood close to shopping, skiing, and Lake. Responsive owners to minor problems. My family of 15 stayed comfortably. Even had a lovely real looking artificial tree that took 5 minutes to set up and take down. We hope to return in future.

Big House. Good Location.

This is a big house if you have a large group and will feel spacious but it’s obvious this house is used for partying. It hasn’t been well looked after, nor respected, and requires DEEP DEEP cleans. The host did coordinate an additional cleaning during our stay which helped a little bit. But it was super inconvenient having to send pictures, submit reports, and communicate with the host while trying to enjoy my vacation with friends. The oven was filthy and this was not cleaned when requested. Overall we were disappointed with the quality and cleanliness. But again, it’s a large home and accommodated our group. Just know what you’re getting into.

Overall, the stay was okay. When we arrived the blankets smelt of body odor and had stains, so we had to re-wash every sheet, blanket, and pillowcase. There were pubic hairs on the window sill in one room, stains on sheets and mattresses, the wifi went out the second day we were there, and the bbq grill was not clean. It was not cleaned very well for our arrival so we had to do extra work on our own time after a 12 hour drive. We cleaned it better than we found it so the next guests will be able to enjoy their stay.

Graduation celebration

We had 16 family members come from all over for our daughters graduation celebration. The house was awesome! Very roomy and the ping pong and pool table were the life of the party each time we were back from our daily activities. The location is great as we were far enough from the lake but close enough to get there fast. We went to emerald bay easily and also went to sand cove beach by incline village and it was super easy. All in all great experience and Luke and sue were highly communicative and made everything so simple. We had a blast!!!!

Great stay for larger parties wanting to see south Lake Tahoe

Stayed here over memorial day weekend with a party of 16. There was plenty of bed space and a set of linens were provided for each bed. The place was clean and provided a grill, hot tub and many kitchen amenities. Plenty of parking space with a 3 car garage and driveway. Place is about a 10 min drive from South Lake Tahoe city area and 20 min drive from the Lake itself, so plenty to do in the area. Honestly no complaints whatsoever! Thanks so much to Luke and Sue for letting us stay at their place.

The house is big and roomy! Communication with Luke and Sue was fast and easy. The only thing I would recommend is more bed pillows! But other then that this house was perfect for my husbands snowboarding weekend with friends and family! Also, keep in mind the drive way is VERY steep and slippery when icy/snowy. One of our AWD vehicles slid down the driveway on its own while in park. So just beware during winter seasons! Also, I love that this house is located near a main road so plowers were always plowing the neighborhood and driveway for us which was very helpful. (Keep in mind we were staying in the middle of a blizzard). Everything worked out perfect and I highly recommend this place!

Tahoe lodge

This property was as advertised. It was clean upon arrival and just what we needed. We had a group of about 15 or 16 people with 4 couples and it slept all of us comfortably. The layout was nice and everyone had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Tahoe!
