Great Getaway for the family!

My family and I, plus 2 dogs enjoyed the stay at what my daughter called, "The Green House". It had everything we needed: a good-sized yard for the dogs and a play structure for our daughter. The company Luxe which manages the property is top-notch. We will be returning customers for sure!

Comfortable and Clean

We stayed here in January and had a great time. Location was quiet and comfortable yet close enough to the store or restaurants if needed. Our hosts were communicative and the place was clean. There was enough room for 6 adults to comfortably hang out in a few spaces in the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Gathering

It was great to have our family together up in ski country. Our 3 and 5 year old grandkids had a blast skiing. The house functioned well with everyone having enough room. Kitchen worked fine.

Great family vacation Home

This place is breathtaking. With a great mountain view. The host responds in a very timely manner, and is super respectful. The bedrooms are very spacious, we had eight people in our group and our dog so it is dog friendly. The outside playground on the property was a bonus for our two youngest. I would definitely stay here again with my family and would recommend this place if you're heading to South Tahoe.

Pros: spacious, location, awesome playroom Cons: icemaker didn't work; damaged screens & screen door; shower fixture fell off; CO2 alarm went off at 4 am; lock box in downstairs bedroom with phone inside; phone rang 2x; unable to answer; inadequate cookware; not maintained well; no salad bowl; dishwasher leaked suds; had to send so many messages to the hosts. Just disappointed.

Overall great house, mussing some amenities.

The house is great, but is missing a lot of good working kitchen supplies. The air hockey table doesnt have sufficient air to make it work properly. TV in game room not working. Overall great stay and enjoyed the property but were missing some items to make cooking an easier experience.

Aside from the broken fencing in two spots, the backyard was nice for our grandchildren. But after staying at this VRBO home we feel this listing needs a significant reduction in price or improvements to the home. There was limited toilet paper, the shades in at least two bedrooms were not working, the mouse scurrying across the floor one evening frightened our young grandaughter, the downstairs bathroom tub was not clean, the "dog friendly" yard had gaping holes in the fencing on each side of the home and some of the pots and pans were shedding their teflon coating and not fit for human use. After paying the deposit, a notice was received mentioning an additional fee of 150 per dog. There was no mention of this added cost anywhere in the materials received prior to making the deposit (I reviewed the initial listing multiple times after learning of this charge). No call was ever returned after speaking with a representative at LuxeVaca on two occasions who told me that someone would get back to me regarding this additional charge. The bright side was that I was not charged the additional fee per dog.
