TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCES:

The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come!

1. 10pm - 8am hours are quiet time for all rentals as determined by the county.

2. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.

3. We cannot host extra people above the permitted number of guests or allow parties on the premises.

4. We cannot accommodate extra cars on the property. Parking on the street and dirt is prohibited.

5. If your home has a hot tub, please enjoy it until 10pm at which time hot tubs are no longer allowed to be used.



PLEASE NOTE: Noise levels are closely monitored in Tahoe and neighbors may alert the police in the event of excessive noise. Fines will be issued to guests found in violation of noise regulations. In order to protect the homeowner permit, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave in the event of noise complaints.



The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.



Interaction with Guests:

You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned. We have a 24 hour customer care team and a local team available during business hours.

The house is perfectly located 8 minutes away from the lake and 7 minutes away from a beautiful river with a waterfall and park. Perfect for families with young children.

We had an amazing time. Excellent location to see the Perseid Meteor Shower. Spacious enough for our family of 6, enjoyed a couple bears crossing our path, close enough to casinos if desired.

Beautiful home and great location!

The home is hands down nice and location is great! Very close to shopping centers and restaurants about 8 minutes or so driving. And you cant beat the views it has!

There was an issues with the dishwasher but it was resolved quickly. There were some other little issues but nothing that effected our stay. We did have a visitor 2 nights so really pay attention to the rules about bears. My family and i really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. I would recommend this home for your stay in South Lake Tahoe. The views are wonderful!!

Disappointing Stay — Poor Communication and Uncomfortable Accommodations

The check-in process was incredibly frustrating. We were not provided with the entry code in advance and had to call customer service to gain access. Meanwhile, the host repeatedly reminded us that early check-in was not available — despite the fact that we couldn’t even get in at the regular time without intervention.The listing advertised a bathtub, but upon arrival, we were met with a sign stating it was out of order. This was a major letdown, and we would have appreciated being informed ahead of time so we could adjust expectations accordingly.Lastly, the beds were extremely stiff and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.Overall, this stay did not live up to the listing or our expectations.

Beware of VRBO posting bad news first then good.

The house is managed by grand welcome. They have their own website which has the accurate information. Per their website the max occupancy is 8. VRBO states the house sleeps 10 adults- it does not. The rental paper work posted for tahoe states 10 person occupancy. Grand welcome customer service hung up on me and was not able to help with the situation. The cabin is fantastic, clean & the garage fits 2 vehicles leaving room for 2 more im the driveway. The living room upstairs gets very warm & the rooms are cozy. The master room is massive. The beds are very firm. It's a great cabin for 8 people and I do recommend it... for 8 people. The VRBO listing is false there is no place for 10 adults to sleep. Other than the sleeping issue the cabin is 20 minutes from Harvey's, Harrahs, & hard rock casinos & heavenly.

Nice area and open spacious living area

Toilet clogged easily and they would not unclog it. Plunger did not work. Only 1 full bath with slow draining water Other full bath was attached to a bedroom WITH NO DOOR in between. So hardly anyone could use it except those sleeping in that room. 1/2 bath was great, but only toilet and sink. Kitchen, living, dining were all great open large areas. Bedroom next to bath was hard to sleep in as bathroom noise spreads easily thru the thin walls.

Perfect home for a small group trip. Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to avoid any traffic or noise. Would highly recommend!

A nice property in a great location.

Overall the property was located in a great neighborhood, and it was comfortable and well designed for our group. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the lack of hot water available. The water got warm but never hot, & there wasn’t much to use before it was back to cold. Also, the ceilings fans in the living area looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since they were installed. I would like to stay here again, so hopefully the above issues will be addressed.

Not what we expected

Service was great however the beds and pillows were hard and not comfortable and some of the bedding, bar stool chairs, bathroom mats still had hair on them. The kitchen table chairs and couches were dirty and ceiling fans were dirty. We paid a $360 cleaning fee but it doesn’t appear to be cleaned at all. Very disappointed.

Quality Home Close To The Lake

Home proved to be even larger and higher quality inside than the pictures portrayed. Great home for the family that want a large kitchen, big den, eating area, and private bedrooms.

Wonderful stay

Place is cozy and clean. We loved sitting out on the balconies. One bit of information that will be helpful the showers hot and cold are the opposite. If you want a warm shower use the cold side. Very nice house. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay and nice location!

Myself and some friends decided to stay here during a friend’s wedding. Ended up being perfectly placed between the city of South Lake Tahoe and the wedding venue at Sierra-at-Tahoe. The location was great...away from the crowded hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to be convenient. The home was very nice, with a great master suite and three bedrooms that worked well for everybody else. Nice open kitchen and living room for entertaining, and great decks to enjoy the scenery and beautiful night sky. Definitely recommend!
