Great location, nice neighborhood

We came for a week of mountain biking and the location was perfectly located to many trails we wanted to ride. The house had all the appliances one would need to prepare meals, the stove and refrigerator were clean and we appreciated having the use of washer and dryer. The only negative, although minor, was the worn out carpets and couch, the backyard could use a cleaning up and the garage could have been more organized as the owner keeps a lot of items there. These are not show stoppers though, I would still recommend this property.

The home is spacious and the view is beautiful. We are glad that we chose this place because it has air conditioning which, by the way, worked well. The only two inconveniences were the soiled carpet on the stairway and the detached toilet seat lid. The house was well stocked.

Amazing Winter get-away!

We stayed at the property with another family. All together there were 9 of us. The house was very comfortable and the upstairs space was so open and bright and just a great setting to spend time together. We played board games and watched movies. It was really helpful that the kitchen/living/dining area was open and it always made you feel like you were "in the conversation" no matter where you were. The beds were comfortable and the pull-out couch was great for kids (we fit 3 small kids on it). The location was really nice too. Close to grocery stores and Heavenly ski resort. What an AMAZING place to ski! There is also a tubing park around the corner and another larger tubing park 20-25 minutes away. It was exactly what we were looking for and look forward to going back next winter.

The perfect home away from home!

Had such a lovely stay at this house! Everything was set up perfectly to work from home, cook meals, and enjoy lounging and exploring South Lake! It's a great location in a quiet neighborhood with awesome hiking and mountain biking trails with great views just a few steps away. There's also a convenient grocery store nearby and quick access to Echo Lake, Fallen Leaf Lake, and only a few minutes away from the rest of South Lake Tahoe! The house was clean and super comfortable with tons of space and great amenities including an awesome couch/TV/sound system set-up. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay, highly recommend for any Tahoe get-away! We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful stay for a family trip

I stayed here for four days with my two infants, my husband and my parents. We spent a lot of time relaxing and cooking in the property and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the scenery of Tahoe. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed and more to prepare meals, the beds were comfortable, the fast WiFi and work stations allowed my husband and I to take work meetings and get work done in the house, and we enjoyed movie nights thanks to the smart TV setup. One of the highlights of the property is the hot tub. There’s nothing like having a hot soak on a chilly day, and we loved the convenience of having one in the yard. Another plus was the gym setup in the garage, with my husband enjoyed. Check in was very easy, as the front door is locked electronically. I received an email a few days before my trip with all the info I needed, and they even accommodated a slightly earlier check in for us, which was really appreciated. The property is 0.5 miles from a grocery store and gas station, so stocking up on food and necessities was not a problem. There are endless trails within walking distance and it’s only a 10-15 min drive to Lake Tahoe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% rebook this property the next time we find ourselves in the area.

An Absolute Dream!

Such an amazing house and location! The fireplace, entertainment system, and desk set up to overlook the backyard were perfect. The master bathroom was also incredible. It snowed for half of my stay and was beautifully sunny for the other half. There were great things to do in South Lake Tahoe everywhere I looked, and it was so nice to be able to come back to this house! I’ll definitely be coming back. 10/10 recommendation!

Great house in convenient location, but unwelcoming neighborhood

House was great for a family of 4. Was very clean, in great shape, and we'll stocked . Check-in was easy and was able to use garage. Meyers location was convenient to go to both Heavenly and Kirkwood, with a supermarket in walking distance. The negative surprise first showed up on the check-in email, and then on signs around the house detailing how much the neighborhood retaliates against short term rentals and there guests. There are a bunch of signs around the house instructing to not go outside after 10 PM, even for the hot tub, or the neighbors would call the cops on you. While we didn't have that happen, it's not a welcoming environment. This is more a statement about the community, rather then this specific property, that set a poor tone for our trip.
