6508-B Fountain Way is located in the exclusive Villas of South Padre subdivision, which is a beachfront gated community! This 4 bedroom/4.5 bathroom townhome features a private jacuzzi! This home is almost 3,000 square feet and features a ground floor living room, dining area, and fully stocked kitchen! Guests will love preparing family meals in the kitchen which has ample countertop space and cabinet storage. The bedrooms which are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors are tastefully decorated and are extremely spacious. Having plenty of room is not an issue in this large home! Ourvacation rental has an Xbox for families and friends to enjoy! Rental Guests can enjoy cocktails outside while sitting on the oversized 2nd floor balcony. The large pool area in the subdivision is a great place to cool off and catch some sun! The pool has a hot tub as well. Rental guests with multiple vehicles (4 maximum) have full use of the garage. The Villas of South Padre Subdivision offers private beach access leading directly to the beach and ocean! There is no need to drive or leave the neighborhood. The beach access is right there!

Great home and neighborhood

The large like new home was spectacular for 4 couples. Each bedroom has a spacious walk in bath, nice TVs, and a couple have sitting areas as well. The ktchen is great and we enjoyed the private hot tub and sharing meals at the fenced in patio. Also enjoyed the community swimming pool and tennis courts HIghly recommended and would definately book again. .

Great place but lacks basics

This is a great property and better than pictured. Walking distance to beach. Very comfortable and cool when hot outside. Sheets were soft on sunburned skin. Gated community and security guards made it feel very safe. Pool was great and well maintained. The only complaint is that it was hardly stocked. I’ve never stayed at a place where I had to bring my own salt and coffee filters. There was no sponge to wash the dishes and we cook a lot. So if you stay here, take everything!

Great Vacation

We did a two week stay with our three daughters and really enjoyed ourselves. The location of this home is great. Away from most of the spring break happenings, which we only caught the tail end of. This was our first trip to SPI and it was fun exploring a trying out the places to eat etc. The layout of the property was perfect for our family of 5 and we had space to spread out, which was great for our extended stay. Pros: - great location, right across cul-de-sac from the pool - Gated community that was quiet - Easy walk to the private beach access - En suite bathrooms for every bedroom - Kitchen is well stocked - Plenty of towels provided - Garage to park in/keep sandy beach items - SPI Rentals is responsive: we had an issue with a shower leaking that caused water to come through vent above dining table and they arrived quickly and gave us the choice to just refrain from using that shower for the remainder of our stay rather than having to deal with a possibly extensive repair situation. They also came out when we were having trouble opening the door to the back patio (the door handle is upside down and requires you to pull up to open). - Washer/dryer is on 2nd level where most bedrooms are located Cons: - no desk and chair (we ended up cleaning and bringing in the outdoor table from the upstairs balcony and carrying up a dining chair so my husband could work - The floors could have been cleaner when we arrived and we had to buy a broom to sweep up sand etc. There was a dustpan and a swifter handle in the broom closet. - The internet is super spotty. We tried to watch a movie on rainy days and it was constantly buffering. - No dresser in the 3rd level bedroom. - The skillets in the kitchen were coated with burnt on food. After 10 min of trying to scrub, I gave up and made a trip to dollar general to purchase some so that we could cook. - You can tell that there hasn’t been a deep clean of the place in a long time. It didn’t feel dirty, but also not super clean either. A good thorough deep clean would go a long way, especially during Covid. - No recycling, which is just crazy given that this is a beach town and all the plastic we saw washed up on the beach (so sad).

SPI Christmas 2020

We stayed here for one month. It's a lovely spacious home. We enjoyed the pool, hottub, and tennis court. My only complaint is the kitchen cookware. There is minimally adequate pots and pans. I would have liked more variety and a little higher quality. I would definitely recommend staying here. We plan on returning.

Need more communication with the property manager. Asked him several questions through message and never responded. Also check out needs to be later. It isnt fair that check in is at 4pm and check out at 10am. Thanks!

Nice and comfortable home

Easy check in. Clean place. Propane tank was almost empty. Kitchen with basic cooking stuff but be sure to bring everything else like paper goods and foil/ziplocks and seasonings. Locks on bathroom doors and bedrooms don’t work. YouTube tv works everywhere except first floor where the WiFi signal is week and the tv spends most of the time buffering. Across the street from the pool. Beach access just a short walk. Had a great time with family and small kids.

Wonderful vacation getaway

Our family of 4 (two teenagers) had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy this fabulous home. The house is spacious, clean, welcoming, and had plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking; with easy access to the beach along with the neighborhood hot tub, it was a perfect relaxing holiday getaway.
