Cozy little one bedroom condo on the 4th floor at The Florence, right on the beach with uninterrupted ocean views from the private balcony. You’ll love this place because of the location, the kitchen, the comfy king bed and the views. There is a queen pull out sofa sleeper in the living room. A great couples getaway, this intimate, den-like vacation home is the perfect backdrop for a low-key, romantic getaway. Pool and a hot tub. Free Garage and onsite parking.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required.

Spring Break: Spring Break age requirement is 21, everyone staying must be at least 21 unless they are with their parents. No exceptions.
Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.
A rental agreement is required and will be sent to you for digital signature after booking.
All guests must adhere to the rules of the building.

Overall, the experience was very good. Needed to contact the hosts just once but the response time & resolution was very quick. Too much furniture for such a small space...this is a 2 person occupancy...max. Unfortunately, lighting around all of the cabinets (kitchen, bar, living area) did not work...this would have enhanced the experience. Beach access is extremely close....Just like the pics show!!Very clean condo & well appointed kitchen....had every gadget I required...even a shrimp boil pot. I would be happy to stay here again.M. Location, location, location! Right on the beach! Amazing sunrises, fabulous beach afternoons, and a quick zip to the other side of the island for incredible sunsets. Easy entry, great parking, clear instructions within the condo. Clean and stocked with everything we needed for a winter break.

Good: Location, view and parking all good. Bed was ok, sofa and chair were good.Bad: Musty smell despite 6 air fresheners deployed by property manager. Kitchenware (coffee maker, pots, baking sheet) in poor condition. Cabinets old, worn, in poor condition and heavier musty smell (we did not keep food in the pantry due to this). Bar sink was unusable, disgustingly dirty water that came out. Warnings posted to not leave patio door open (due to mold and ac issues) otherwise you risk being fined, therefore we could not air out the apartment. Instead, we were told to run the A/C and dehumidifier constantly, which is quite noisy and cold. Handle for oven door came off, had to call property manager to get it fixed.Property Manager: Unsympathetic to our concerns, we asked to change or refund due to smell, only stated response repeatedly no one ever had issues before. We left two days early, told the property manager the morning we left and got no response.

Considering the price, I thought it was a pretty good deal. Right on the beach, very clean, quiet, well-furnished (although as usual for a place like this, the knives and some of the other kitchen equipment were substandard). Parking was generally inside, a little tight. A couple of criticisms: the water pressure and functioning of the kitchen faucet were terrible, the bathroom sink was missing any sort of stopper or trap, and the refrigerator had some cold zones that froze our soda and vegetables. Overall, though, we were pleased.

Everything was perfect! Always stay in Laura and Judy’s properties when I stay in South Padre. Awesome view, very clean, and they provide everything you need. 5 stars all the way! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Cozy with great water views.

Nice little one bedroom comfortable and cozy condo. Shower was great and updated. Plenty of cabinet space which was great! Large closet was a big plus. Water pressure in toilet and kitchen sink was low. This place was well stocked with kitchen utensils and pots. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was not cooling but in 2 days it did after adapting the temperature gauge, which a new renter should not have to encounter. Beach chairs and umbrella was provided, which i appreciate. The view to the beach was awesome. Booking & payment, check-in and check-out was easy. Family and dog friendly for sure!

Location location location

Great place. First day I got out the beach umbrella and chairs from the closet and sat out by the waves. Second day I realized I didn’t have to do all that to get the same sun and listen to the waves. I just put the beach chair on the balcony and it was just the same. My drinks and the bathroom were right there. Loved it. Walked along the beach at night and in the morning. Sure, the condo is a little dated, has dark wood, the bed squeaks, the TV is a bit scratched, etc. BUT the important things - it was CLEAN, the bed was comfortable, it was RIGHT ON THE Beach, there’s a working hot tub and pool downstairs. It has all that. And the management company was very good about providing detailed and timely directions for everything. It was a smooth relaxing trip for me.

Beautiful view

The view was beautifull, the condo was a little dated. The balcony chairs were not comfortable. I am not a fan of cold showers. There were not enough trash bags. The gate code was changed without communication from the host.
