Avoid this Holiday Inn Resort – overpriced, dirty,

The booking photos make it look like a tall beachfront tower, but it’s actually just four low-rise floors awkwardly called “Tower A” and “Tower B.” We were put in Tower B, which is several hundred meters from the parking lot—unpleasant when hauling luggage, especially with kids. Our room had live cockroaches and lizards, a serious health risk since we had an 18-month-old baby. At over $212 per night, the poor maintenance was shocking: dirty, sticky floors; grimy remote and desk; and towels so stained and covered with other guests’ body hair they were unusable. The sea view rooms have no balconies, and the two small pools feel like an afterthought. This place feels like an old motel badly rebranded into a Holiday Inn, with none of the standards you’d expect. Overpriced, unhygienic, and completely misleading—do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

After completing my reservation the itinerary did say I had to pay $125 at check in however when I checked in I was told I had to pay $150. The bathroom is extremely small to where it was difficult to close the door (im a very thin person). It was a struggle to get one roll of toilet paper and coffee as the house cleaning ladies did not leave any when we were low and saw there was no coffee in the room.

Tower B, the hallway was hot and elevator slow. The units are dated and the bathroom was tight (the door would literally rub against the toilet in order for it to close). The AC units are louder than normal. Usually there’s a humming noise, but the one in my room made cracking sounds too. We had the breakfast buffet and it wasn’t all that great. The watermelon tasted funny, so I did not eat after the first bite. The restaurant outside Tower B, is good. I had the fish tacos and they were really good. Plenty of parking and staff is nice and responsive.

Easy access to the beach, they provide beach towels, seaside restaurant was good. Elevator got stuck and then wouldn’t answer help call. Floor felt wet the whole time. Lamp outlet stopped working and phone. Have to pay for breakfast separately.
