This property is a large, bay side home boasting 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! This beautiful home is absolutely perfect for any group of family or friends traveling to South Padre Island, TX! The two-story home features a spectacular interior with large spacious bedrooms, ample bathrooms and an open concept living and dining area. The private pool and hot tub in the backyard is amazing!

The kitchen is large and if fully stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. The living room has a large flat screen TV and multiple couches for guests to relax on. The dining area features a nice 10 seat table to accommodate guests with additional seating over the kitchen bar. The second floor encompasses the additional 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Guests can easily access the private backyard pool directly from the living room. The pool is large and also has a hot tub. It's perfect for family cookouts and hanging out with friends. Guests are welcome to use the two car garage to park their vehicles. This home accommodates up to 16 people and allows up to 4 vehicles.

Perfect for big Families

The back yard and pool were magnificent. We BBQ in their propane pit, it was small but did the job! The house was very well stocked with everything. The upstairs was extremely spacious with 5 rooms, 2 had their own full bath and another full bath in the hall for the other 3 rooms. We saw Clayton’s fireworks from the upstairs balcony! Management wasn’t the friendliest, they didn’t allow us to check in earlier than 10 minutes 😒 we were there 2 hours prior and house had already been clean by then! We also requested an extra hour for checkout and we weren’t granted that either! FYI, check out is at 10AM!!

Wonderful property for multiple families. Pool area was great! Second fridge in kitchen! Grill was broken but maintenance replaced within hours of our call. 2 block walk to the beach so perfect location!

What an experience an 8 out 10!

The house and pool were awesome. Plenty of room in the house. We had no hot water in the kitchen, so we had to boil water to do dishes. No broom to sweep with and the Fridge was not cold enough even though we went to the office to let them know. They told us the maintenance guy would be notified, but no one ever came to the house on any of the 5 days we were there. Both BBQ pits have holes on the bottom so it was very hard to use them fully. We had to put both the brisket and the pork loin in the oven, not really the experience we wanted to have in doing BBQ poolside. Aside from that I give this overall experience an 8 out of 10 and yes we would rent again. Just need to pay attention to the reviews your clients leave you. We want the next guest to have a 10 experience, so please fix the items listed. Thank you!

This property lacked cleanliness along with non functioning items.

When we arrived maintenance had to come out for a repair. He had to drill into sheetrock and he did not clean up behind himself. Then when we went to cook the first night we arrived, we found dried food on cooking utensils and pots and pans. There was also dried food spots on the seating and floor in the kitchen area. The refrigerator never got cold the whole time we were there. Panels on the vertical blinds were broken allowing sunlight in early in the morning. This property was advertised as having three rooms with two queen size beds, but actually only one of these three rooms had two queen size beds. The other two rooms had only full size beds. We talked to the property management company while in SPI and they asked us to send an email along with our photos. We did so and have never heard anything back from them.

Family Time

The Good, bad and ugly. Good: Property was spacious and we had plenty of room for the whole family. Plenty of bathrooms for all 11 of us. Easy access, parking and an easy walk to the beach. Also had several places to shop and eat within walking distance. Bad: 1. Swimming pool was hot. It is attached to a hot tub. Would be awesome in winter, but in the summer, with high humidity, it wasn't nice to swim in nor refreshing. Really miserable to be in. 2. While the property was spacious, it wasn't very homey. We felt like we were in a large frat house. Beds were sub-par and the decor was minimal. 3. If you plan on cooking, bring your own pans, very little cooking items provided to accommodate preparing a meal for a large group. Ugly: The check-in process with SPI rentals, was not good. We showed up 30 minutes early and they lied to us about the property needing an inspection. Said they would call when it was ready. NEVER received a call! If they have a hard rule about 4 pm, that is fine, just say that, no need to lie. Secondly, when we arrived the fridge was hot and we lost some food which spolied before the fridge cooled down 24 hours later. Called maintenance and they sent some young kid over to tell us how stupid we were and that "we were just like every other renter". We were told that we caused the fridge to be hot by placing hot food in the fridge. Very insulting and not customer centered. Overall, we had a great time, The house is worth your time and will allow you to have a large family gathering. I would recommend the house, but don't count on the rental company to be any help.

Big House and Nice Pool but not clean

Overall We enjoyed the location, the amount of space and the pool.. the house had a retro feel to it...but there were roaches in the house and it needed to be updated. For the amount of money we paid, the house should have been immaculate. We brought our own sheets, but should have brought blankets too because they were dirty and did not look like they had been washed for a while. The house had probably not be swept or dusted in a considerable amount of time. We tried to sweep and could not find a dustpan. The house is okay for a different price point. I would not pay the premium price per night like we did for the 4th of July weekend.

Nice place

We were able to check in early, which was convenient. However we were told there would be someone coming to clean the pool and that didn’t happen. When asked about it, we were told a third party cleans the pool. Also, the house is all tile and with the house having a pool, you’d think there’d be some rugs or runners to prevent slipping. Overall, we had a fun vacation and the house was accommodating and close to the beach.

The house was clean and spacious with plenty of cooking and eating utensils. Overall excellent.

The overarching issue was we were unable to use the pool and hot tub for the first 3 days. Neither was clean or heated and it took several attempts to discover that the electricity had not been turned on for the pool and patio area. The hot tub was heated by propane and the tank was empty and the fill gauge was broken. All of that involved multiple calls to maintenance until the problem was resolved. Staff was always apologetic and pleasant but we were frustrated it took multiple calls to solve the pool problems. Many of the problems could have been avoided by following a checklist prior to check-in. We did enjoy our stay. The house was amazing and with a little proactive care the entire property would have been equally amazing.

Great house for a family or group getaway

Very spacious home with a wonderful pool and spa. The deck area was comfortable with plenty of seating. The pool and spa are very nice and also equipped with railings for assistance in and out for little folks or grandparents. Kitchen was huge and well equipped. The bedrooms are huge! Very quiet area with plenty of parking. The managers were very attentive to our needs.

Roaches!

Here is the breakdown, when we arrived there was no propane In The gas grill and the charcoal grill had not been cleaned out, also one of the toilets was clogged. No big deal let's move forward. Hot tub does not heat 1 hr into the night, they say they will send someone the following day. As I go to bed behind the bed is a dead roach, how does this get overlooked by house keeping I have no idea. During that night there is a live roach in the bathroom and in someone else's room. For what we paid this is completely unacceptable. When we notified SPI rentals they could care less and to be honest their customer service was Terrible. The gas in the propane for the spa didn't not get refilled until the 3rd day we were there. This place was extremely dirty and poor customer service. Stay at your own risk.
