I gave a rating of 1 star because of my check in experience at check in and customer service. I booked and paid for my stay through Expedia. I did this as I wanted the current cdn rate vs getting charged more on site in the U.S. with my visa. Upon checkin they neglected to tell me that because I used a 3rd party, they would be putting a hold on my credit card for $250 U.S. ($362 cdn) and that it can take 7 days to release. Once it was done it was too late. That’s a lot of money to get held when your travelling, especially when the room was only $105 us. No where on their website is it listed.
