Staff were lovely and polite, room was okay design was beautiful but it was so hot in the room even with the small aircon machine their was food left outside the lift from when I checked in at 3 and was still their when I come back at 22:00 but was gone by the morning, we brought 2 drinks which were ridiculously priced at £27.50 considering I had asked for a single spiced rum, which I did call the hotel about and they said they would get back to me about this but haven’t heard anything since as I believe they charged us for 2 50l priced at £9 each shot. The view from my room wasn’t pleasant as it over looked peoples gardens. The bed was rock hard but the pillows were amazing. Staff were so lovely though nothing to complain about on that front

Has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Southend. The restaurant is also very good too and they have several different room types. Right by the sea. Will come back for sure.

The hotel was lovely, I had a great night's sleep and enjoyed the comfort of the air conditioning. The only downside is that the room was quite small and it would be nice to have some amenities for the price I paid (like a gym for example) but overall I had a nice stay.
