My husband and I stayed there for our 18th Anniversary. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We were in room 101 and the view was amazing! High quality furniture and very clean! It would have been nice to be able to see the TV from the couch and be able to open the balcony door all the way as we couldn't because of the couch placement but overall extremely satisfied and will be back! Super nice cleaning ladies as well!

The management staff was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. We caught a beautiful sunset off our river ride. The little deck was great. Strong water pressure, full-size fridge, ample towels and coffee. Beautiful pool ( closed as it was off season) and private beach. The beds were in good shape, with a pillow top. We did find them too soft for our liking. We also prefer unscented laundry detergent/ fabric softener. That said, I am a little sensitive to scents and picky. Great location.

Room was nice. I let the hotel know about the water not being hot and the shower door would not stay closed. The coffee maker was terrible. Took me 3 tries to make a cup.

Spent the weekend there with my girlfriend and had and amazing experience! Very clean and maintained rooms. Had to get my key out of a lockbox because we had to check in after hours but it was explained very well by management and they made it very easy to get my keys and find my room. Beautiful view of the ocean with a private beach and pier! Definitely going to be staying there again for future trips. 10/10 experience!

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but still comfortable. The area of Southport was nice. The check in lady was helpful and gave us a list of local food spots to try (which we did!). All rooms are accessed by stairs since elevator was not working which was inconvenient. I am not sure how people who rely on the elevator would do. We would stay here again.

Room is clean and receptionist friendly. The room was advertised as “river view”. Not true. The view is of bushes and dirty pipes. If you stand on the small balcony you can see a small bit of the river. A powerful light keeps the room bright throughout the night. Block out blinds are needed.

I booked this from Sunday to Wednesday the first time, liked it so much, i went home one night and rebooked Friday through Monday! Wonderful place, friendly people, quiet, clean, and close to everything. Spectacular views. I will definitely be back.

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. The elevator to our unit was out of order so had to use stairs. The second floor rooms river view was partially blocked by trees on the neighboring property, third floor would have been a good view.
