We had to change rooms twice due to a/c issues The last night in the final room when a/c worked was very enjoyable on the third floor. The front desk staff was great in moving us but the second floor a/c was not working properly and the first night was a struggle to be comfortable.

Courtyards by Marriott are usually above average but ths one was older and needed remodeling, especially the bathroom. Room was comfortable and quiet.

I didn’t like that the hot tub was closed off for either repairs/maintenance for our entire stay. Rooms are cleaned every other day, but the towels, coffee cups, etc are not available for the second day unless you go down to the front desk to gather the items. My sister stayed on the same floor, but on the other side of the elevators. Weird that she had the same experience with other hotel guests as I did on my end. People fighting in the other room and waking us up, cursing really loud outside their room without a care for others in the building. Kinda makes the hotel seem for the lower class. I did like that there were tables available downstairs to play cards and have a drink. We brought our own wine and played a card game while sharing a birthday cake for my sister’s birthday. Our main reason for going to St Augustine.
