Enjoy an "Old Florida" property close to downtown.
Welcome to Cedar Cove! Enjoy an 'Old Florida' appeal with our 100 year old oak trees cascading in the sunlight. This property has a fire pit with outdoor seating and a wooden swing under oaks There is a very comfortable king size bed in the master. with a full size bathroom. Full kitchen with gas range and high top dining for two. Fort Mose is one street behind you and great for kayaking.
The room was clean but smelled as if it was wet/old it was very close to downtown historic area a/c unit was smaller but the place also had ceiling fans didnât really speak to the host because everything worked at the place could use a plumber toilet was rocky the place was shared with others as well
The yard area was nice. It was a nice area for our dog. The neighborhood allowed you to walk your dog down the side walk. People were friendly. The VRBO was close to restaurants and not far from all the activities, the fort and shops.
Very outdated property. Cleaning crew lack alot...the toilet seat had dried urine and feces on it. Every surface required wiping down with Lysol wipes before we felt comfortable using them. Musty smell throughout unit, hairballs on the sheets. Unfortunately we would NOT stay here again. Oh...fresh, live flowers were present...make of that what you will.
We enjoyed the location and the quiet community. I believe the property could use some upgrades like the mattres and couches. It was clean and the amenities were nice, the toilet needs some attention because it rocks. I was disappointed that there was no soap in the bathroom.
This place was exactly as described. Cozy, convenient, reasonably priced, bed was comfy, close to several food and shopping attractions. I would definitely return here and I highly recommend Tammy as your Vrbo host!
This place was bad we get there and first thing we notice is the furniture is dirty there were food crumbs in the couch like someone had just got done eating on it and stained pretty bad then we had into the bedroom and on the comforter was a big yellow pee stain and then we find out that the window unit A/C doesn't work and when we call the host she said yeah the unit in the living room is supposed to cool everything but it didn't needless to say we didn't stay there we got a room at the Cozy Inn it was great and vrbo wouldn't refund us so we lost that money
This was a small space perfect for what we needed for the weekend. We had an event to attend just a few miles down the road which made for easy traveling to and from. Close to all the STA attractions and downtown.
The property has no central heat/air. One of the air units has molds on the blades. There were spider webs on several picture frames. It has a very odd smell. The couch has a couple of stains and tears. My boyfriend is 5'10 and had to squat to use the shower. The shower head was extremely low. You would hit your arm on the toilet paper holder when you would sit on the toilet. Leading into the bedroom there are glass doors which were covered in dog paws. We couldn't find the trash can in the alley way to throw trash away, so we had to throw it in the neighbors.
Good location and good value for the money, but a little dated. Bedsheets needed cleaning and had some soiled spots on them. New pillows needed also as they were soiled as well. Spiderweb in the corner of the living room. Outside photos need updating as shrubs have really grown.
It was ok for just the 2 nights to go around old town St Augustine. It was cold, not enought blankets and the ones available they were stained as well as the pillows. Manager sent clean ones but that's not the point. My son didn't have a clean blanket to use in the pull out sofa had to use a matress. covers insteadstainedand
Beautiful but not senior friendly. There was 1 matching towel set, two sets would have been nice. The bed was too low and the table and chairs in the living room were too high otherwise a great place to stay.
We found the property to be conveniently located to Old Town sight seeing. Plenty of off street parking too. The accommodations were plenty roomy for us (2 people). Roku TV provided. Bathroom equipped with tub/shower combo. Bedroom has a king bed which was very comfortable. Only negative is Lack of any kind of dresser for clothes storage. Communication with owner was excellent as were the provided instructions. We would stay again if the occasion for us to be in the area presented itself.
Our stay was fine. It was clean and served our purpose. It is more of a studio apartment, than a "house." It is part of a duplex, which I missed in the description. Would have liked to have a few more starter amenities, but we made it work.
We came to St. Augustine for the Night of Lights display and stayed here on Colon Ave. The accommodations were great and located in a quiet neighborhood only a few miles from downtown. The home is exactly as it appears online with plenty of parking and also a fenced backyard for added security. This was a great VRBO experience.
