Great Beach House At Great Location!

The Rushings invite you to enjoy an exciting Florida vacation in our Beach House on Anastasia Island, in quiet Surf Crest Village.
Our bungalow cottage house is adjacent to the solar heated pool and is in the center of an oceanfront complex of individual one and two-story homes. This is a house and not a condo. BIG difference if you have ever stayed in a condo with a noisy neighbor! There is a picturesque covered gazebo atop the dunes for your enjoyment, with private access to an uncrowded white sandy beach.
WARNING: If you come once you'll be hooked!!!!
We are five miles south of historic St. Augustine, ten miles north
of Marineland, an hour and a half from Disney World, Sea World,
Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center and many other wonderful attractions. World Golf Village and Outlet Shopping Malls are just minutes away.
This is a Smoke-Free and Pet-Free Beach house.

The house was tidy and well organized, and very welcoming! We loved how close it was to the beach and how easy it was to create home-cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen. A short drive took us to multiple restaurants and sights. Overall, a great stay.

We really enjoyed this property. So close to the beach and right next to the pool. We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the evening. The condo was cozy with a nice layout. Owners responded right away to inquiries. I would definitely recommend this lovely property!

When we arrived at the property, everything looked great intact in place we entered the premises and everything was absolutely spotless and perfect. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as could be the kitchen the laundry everything was just perfect.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful beach house. We definitely overpacked with things the owner provided. There is not 1 thing I can think of that this house did not have, sand buckets for the kids, beach chairs, floats for the pool, and many other necessities. Just a short walk and you’re on the beach. This house is beautiful, peaceful and we will definitely plan to visit again. Booking was easy and the owner is very prompt in answering questions you may have. Very pleased with our stay. Excellent stay at beach home

We loved our stay at this beach home. It was in an excellent location, short walk to the beach, near many restaurants and a short drive into old St. Augustine. The home was clean, decorated so cute and very comfortable for our 5 night stay. The only negative was we didn't stay long enough!

Great location, had everything we needed

Our family of 4 enjoyed our trip to St. Augustine Beach immensely. This cottage was perfect for us- we had a short walk to a very private beach and when we didn’t want to go out to the sand- the neighborhood pool was right there and a perfect option for little kid swimming between naptime and dinner time. :) the home was well stocked and had everything we needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There were a few boards in the floor that felt a bit shaky- so may need to have a some repairs done- but overall the house seemed well maintained and was very clean and comfortable for our family. AC worked well and we had control over the settings which was nice. There were a few dishwasher pods and laundry detergent sheets available so we didn’t have to buy a big package to run just a few loads- it’s the little things- but we felt well cared for and would definitely book here again.

Felt like home

How to describe it is the thing. We stayed for almost six weeks and really felt like part of the community. Everyone was so friendly. You can sit on the benches on the boardwalk and look over the dunes and the beach, then turn your head and watch the beautiful sunset over the cottages. The beach is amazing here! We rode bikes on the beach during low tide, and walked along the water's edge every day. The pool is solar heated, and we had a chilly winter, so we only swam in the pool once BUT there is soooo much to do around St. Augustine that you can always find something if you want. We never had any problems, so we didn't need to contact Steve and Julie during our stay. They were so friendly during the reservation, check-in and check-out process. The cottage is nice and clean, well-stocked (I cooked a lot) and well-furnished, and we loved having our breakfast out on the deck every morning. This is a really relaxing and comfortable place to stay, and close enough to get to everything but peaceful and quiet, too! Thank you Steve and Julie!

Winter Getaway

Great quiet location on Anastasia Island! Appreciated secure gate access to beach walkway, which was only a couple minutes from the house. Didn't use the community pool, but very clean and lots of seating. Owner shared check-in info and was available for questions throughtout our stay. Highly recommend for a St Augustine vacation.

Lovely beach cottage

The nicest experience. Kitchen had everything you could need for an extended stay, linens were high quality, beds were plush.Short walk to the ocean, try the mini golf nearby it was loads of fun. Great owners, we will definitely stay here again. A little gem on Anastasia Island.Best VRBO experience yet.
