Wonderful stay
Publié le 20 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for our family to stay for a couple nights before our cruise. It was quiet and relaxing after a long drive from Michigan. The area is beautiful and quiet, perfect for early morning walks. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable! The condo had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again to enjoy it for a longer stay.

Spacious and comfortable

It is located quite close to my daughter's home. Restaurants and stores are located within a few minutes drive.

Know Before You Go
Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayBooked mainly because of the beautiful ‘heated’ pool. Very disappointing that the water temperature was too cold to enjoy. Able to swim almost daily in the community pool that was much warmer but not as conveniently located.
Complex was quiet and secure but far from area beaches and attractions. Condo was spacious and clean, except for the upholstery. The bed was comfortable; the rest of the furniture was not. Large bathroom with expansive vanity. Challenging to get in and out of the shower safely because of the huge soaking tub. Two large televisions had not the best reception. Getting the searching for signal wheel at all different times of the day was frustrating.
We lost a brother shortly after arriving for the month. Asked to cancel to go home for the funeral. No empathy or golden rule here. If we left, we risked losing all of the money we had budgeted for vacation. This made a difficult situation even harder.

You and I have discussed most of these comments privately but again….
1. I greatly apologize that the pool that was closest to the unit had a repair issue (occasionally things break and require fixing- that’s life) but there was a large hot tub directly next to it you could use and another pool option further away. That being said, the heater is not intended to make summer like temperatures it is to make sure the pool does not freeze during winter months. Northern Florida temps are not outdoor pool weather in early February.
2. It is your responsibility to understand before you book where the place is located in relation to what you want to see and do. There is a map on the VRBO website that shows where we are located. You can’t just just randomly book something in St. Augustine and assume it is equal distance to all things.
3. Lastly, when you contacted me and told me your brother in law was going to be put on hospice I told you I would break our cancellation policy and reimburse you for every night I was able to rebook it. You got back to me and told me that you had talked to your family and they had encouraged you to stay and finish your trip. You never said anyone died. But honestly, in my opinion if my brother died I would have gone home regardless especially if I was as unhappy as your review suggests. Something doesn’t add up…
All the rest of the stuff is honestly a matter of your opinion. I wish the best for better stays in the future.

This location was beautiful and peaceful. I went with my family and it was so kid friendly and family oriented. The owner was very easy to communicate with us. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting St. Augustine.

Perfect stay
Publié le 11 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayHost was great and very responsive. The condo was clean and well appointed. The location is in reasonable distance downtown St. Augustine and the beach as well as other attractions. Very quiet and safe with nice amenities on property.
