Spoonbill: Built in 2020, this 4BR/3BA Cottage-style beach home sleeps 8. Just steps from Vilano Beach, it features a private swim spa, cozy coastal decor, and all modern comforts. Perfect for families or groups, relax on spacious decks, enjoy ocean breezes, and explore nearby restaurants, shopping, and historic downtown St. Augustine for a memorable beach getaway.


We value your privacy but are available 24/7 and quickly respond to any needs that you may have. We enjoy interaction with our guests and welcome feedback, questions, concerns and requests.


This home is special because you can walk 100 yards to the shore. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors who are all just enjoying the beach life. Also, Publix and a handful of restaurants are within walking distance. There's always a fantastic breeze blowing which makes it heavenly.

Get around in style with a new water taxi service between the Vilano Beach Public Dock at the Pier and the St. Augustine Municipal Marina.

Large swim spa can be heated during cooler months and used as a hot tub or as a small pool during the summer.

The golf cart can be driven throughout the neighborhood and to the shops and restaurants in the area. It can also be taken to the public parking lot 100 yards east of the home for easier beach access if needed. It can not be driven on the beach itself.

Listing was just as described…clean, beautiful home super close to the beach! The on site golf cart was an awesome addition and the proximity to Publix was super convenient! The comfortable accommodations provided in this home made for a wonderful beach trip! We would definitely stay here again!

Super cute house with plenty of room!

Very clean, lots of space, nice beds and baths, awesome kitchen. Everything you need. Riding in the golf cart was an added bonus. Perfect location for families.

Vilano beach visit

House was very pleasant with great kitchen supplies for our group of 7. The outdoor patio had plenty of seats with hot tub that was inviting. Distances to beach and grocery store both easily walkable. Great accommodations and we’d love to come back!

The location was everything. Super super close to the beach, Publix, gas stations, and Downtown Saint Augustine. The beds were super comfortable, showers were beautiful, and the golf cart was super convenient. Our friend group had the BEST time here. Cannot wait to stay again!!

Spoonbill never disappoints! This is our second year staying at this property with our adult children and their spouses. The location is ideal; it's just a short walk to the beach and grocery store. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. Check-in and out are easy. We had a wonderful time!

Spoonbill property

This was a fabulous location for our family vacation. It offered big waves on the Atlantic side and gentle tide pools and lots of beach at the inlet only two blocks away. The house was clean and well equipped for 8 people with varying ages.

Ideal family vacation

This beach house was everything! A quiet oasis from the town, simple access to the beach, quick walk to shops and restaurants, and a beautiful, well appointed home! The backyard was our favorite surprise! The large sandbox for our kids kept them entertained (and contained) for hours. Can’t wait to come back next spring!

Perfect place!

The home was beautiful and well appointed. Everything you could need plus some! Distance to beach is just a couple minutes walking. Clean and bright inside and out. Beach was great and there is a Publix just a couple blocks away! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home!

Great location with everything you need.

Short walk (less than a block) to the beach. Beach gear already at the property to use. House has plenty of space with all the goods to entertain and cook. Backyard makes for peaceful evenings. No complaints at all.

This property is new and outstanding. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. I cannot recommend this enough. A beautiful home with plenty of room for everyone. The Teens absolutely loved having the upstairs to themselves.

Perfect Place

We went to St. Augustine for 2 concerts at Fort Mose. This was a great house for 4 couples. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the house was spotless. Beds were all very comfortable and the backyard was nice for relaxing or playing games. Parking was ideal. We all left saying we hope to come back.

Family week at the beach

The Spoonbill is perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us. Love the modern indoor space and plenty of space outdoors. The couple of minutes walk to the beach is perfect. The golf cart definitely comes in handy for quick trips to Publix which we used a couple of times a day to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Will be be back.

Beautiful home in great location

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Wonderful home in the perfect location. The beach was so close. Nice and flat and you can walk for quite a while. It was quiet most of the time, and that's just what we wanted. Host was accommodating. Lots of beach chairs and everything you need for a great stay. Would highly recommend. Also recommend the pizza place by the Publix. Great pizza.

Our family just enjoyed a week enjoying this beautiful home. It is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and was perfect for our family . We spent time inside cooking together and loved relaxing on the back deck and playing corn hole . Beach toys were a big hit for the kids . The grocery store and delicious pizza are with in walking distance . We would love to stay here again.

Beach Bliss

Have you stayed at The Spoonbill? If not, book right now! What a beautiful house! You walk inside and immediately feel at home. The furnishings and décor are wonderful and put you in a vacation state of mind. The house is a super quick walk to the beach and the neighborhood quiet and laid back. It was the perfect place for our vacation. We will be back!

Wonderful weekend

We loved it. It was perfect. We had a 70,79, & 84 year old with us. The big open showers were perfect. It is close enough to everything. They enjoyed the spa pool. The only thing I would recommend would be handrails to hold onto getting in and out of spa pool.

Beautiful house! Great location!

Had a family vacation. The location of the house to the beach was great! Short walk and the golf cart was great! We could load up beach gear and take it up there and then walk without carrying everything. The house had everything we needed. I’ve already started looking at availability for our next family trip. Host very responsive and quickly had a solution for a small issue.
