Feel the stress melt away as you arrive in Vilano Beach with breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views. Just steps from the beach and 5 minutes to historic downtown St. Augustine, enjoy ocean breezes, stunning sunrises, and all the local restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. Perfect for relaxing escapes or fun-filled getaways on the Island.


We give guests space but we're never far away should there be any questions or concerns. Call, email or message us at anytime and we'll be happy to help.


Located directly oceanfront in the heart of Vilano Beach!


Guests will have access to the south side of the downstairs of the home. Each unit has it's own separate deck space but the boardwalk to the beach is shared by all units.

The parking area is shared by all units. Unit B is allowed two vehicles max.


Please note: The home is split into three separate units.

This listing is for Unit B (downstairs, south side of home). Inquire for more details and availability if interested in renting more than one unit.

Unit A is located downstairs on the north side, unit C is the entire upstairs.


Pet Policy: One dog is welcome for a non-refundable fee of $150. Please let us know ahead of time if traveling with a pet.

Amazing Stay

From booking to check out this place was amazing! Was right on the beach and walked out to the surf. We saw a beautiful sunrise; this was wonderful and we will definitely be returning!!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home. I loved that we could walk out on the beach with direct access and it was just a short walk. Great place to stay. I would stay again.

Lovely getaway

The condo is in new condition and is sparkling clean. We enjoyed the oceanfront patio as well as the ocean view from indoors. I would absolutely book it again.

Wonderful time at Surfside Retreat

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside Retreat Unit B. The location was perfect with direct walkout access to the beach. The unit was accurately described and so well furnished with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very helpful and responsive to inquiries/questions. They provided very helpful and detailed information on the property, parking and the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Beach was very private and not much public traffic which is great for family gatherings, place was extremely clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say you could improve on is an earlier check in but not a make or break deal.

We've been coming here for 25 years - our home away from home almost!

As always, it was delightful. Outdoor hose on the patio needs to be replaced to limit the sand tracked in to the condo. We'll be back!

Sandy quiet beach escape

This triplex features independent privacy and footsteps from the beach. Beachy modern decor. Spotlessly clean and fabulous communication. Everything you need in the kitchen and near Publix (a block away) for any indoor meals. We will return here to our favorite section of St Augustine. (decades)

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place!

This place was beautiful. It looked exactly like the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We just wish we had more time to stay. We enjoyed taking our dog and she enjoyed the stay as well. The only thing is there was no washer/dryer in this unit, but luckily we carried enough items that this was not an issue. Excellent managers-fabulous beach

This location is perfect for those who want a quiet location on a five star beach. The beach is wide and flat, perfect for beach walking. We struggled a bit with nighttime and morning noise from footsteps in the upstairs unit. We used ear plugs and rebooked. Amy and Rachel were easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had.

We had a great time at Surfside Retreat. Pros: Our unit (B) was very cute and convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Kitchen was sufficient for cooking in one night. Great access to the beach. Quick access to Publix and restaurants. The unit was clean and tidy. AC worked wonderfully on such a hot week. Cons: the unit upstairs from us had a party every night until 3-4am. We attempted to resolve it with the managers but they were not super responsive to our texts. They did say they would address it but it continued every night so we got very little sleep while we were there. . Very limited towels/washcloths and kitchen linens. So I recommend bring your own. Would not likely stay here again due to the noise from the upstairs unit and nothing was done about it.

Great Location

We rented the B unit for 4 nights and it was ok. I’d ideally give it 3.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. The main reason was the cleanliness, the bathroom especially, had hair in bathtub, with an old razor cap left, and the toilet looked like they just poured the cleaner and left it. The dust on shelves and black finger marks on door made it seem worse. The kitchen had dust on the ceiling so we couldn’t turn fans on while cooking and some dishes were not clean followed with only having 3 coffee mugs with one cracked for a place that sleeps 4. The master bed was super comfortable but the spare were hard as a rock. Pillows sucked and it would have been nice to have blackout drapes in master bedroom. Overall it’s a nice place and if owners would make the above changes I’d definitely stay there again.
