A Hidden Gem — We Felt Truly Cared For

We stayed at the Capri Inn for quite a while, and it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had — even being right next to the highway didn’t detract from the comfort or vibe. What makes this place stand out is the amazing Vietnamese family who owns and runs it. They are truly warm, generous, and deeply caring people, and you can feel it in everything they do. This isn’t corporate hospitality — it’s real, human kindness. The housekeeping staff were also fantastic — friendly, respectful, and always doing a great job. The energy here is genuinely positive, and it felt like a safe, welcoming space throughout our entire stay. Of course, the building could use a few small updates here and there, but honestly, that’s a minor point when the people running it are this lovely. It was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located for everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again — and probably always will. We wish they’d open more locations! Thank you, thank you, thank you to this wonderful team for making our stay so peaceful and comfortable.

Exceptionally clean

Capri Inn was exceptionally clean. I’ve stayed in many hotels but none was as clean as this one. Kudos to the staff! Everyone at the front desk was also nice and friendly. The only issue I had (and it’s not that big of a deal) was that the pillows were a bit on the small side. I would prefer bigger pillows but I made do.

This place has made a remarkable effort to make itself lovely with landscaping. Our room surprised us with a view of the river out the back. That same care extends to the comfort of the room. What could have been a very basic small motel is actually quite nice. They go the extra mile.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I usually stay in more well-known hotel brands but this was the only affordable room I could find due to a big event happening in St. Catharine's during my stay. The Capri Inn was such a nice place. Very pleasant staff, super clean and comfortable room and central location. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay here again.

Incredible value

Our stay at the Capri Inn was excellent! Although an older motel, the room was immaculate and didn't feel tired or run down at all. The bedding and towels were very good, mattress comfortable, and the room was very well appointed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Capri Inn for its location and value.
