Great location; run down property

This could be a great vacay or romantic getaway if owners would spend just a little more on updated decor & furnishings. Also, there was trash laying about on porches that surrounded second floor level, which housekeeping should have noticed & disposed of. For the price we paid, this was disappointing.

the front desk is suppose to open from 8am to 8pm but at 7:30pm on Saturday evening when i went to the desk, the person had already left for the day.

In the most interesting part of St George Island, close to the park. There was a very strong chemical smell in the room that didn't go away even after a three-night's stay. The hotel claimed they couldn't do anything about it, blaming it on the cleaning solution. The stench was so strong that we had to turn on the heater to camouflage it.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful room, perfect stay. Very pet friendly. Very family friendly! Everything was clean, loved the decor and little kitchenette. The island was lovely, weather cool and breezy but not cold. Just about everything within walking distance. Definitely coming back for longer stay.

The location was great, however a souvenir shop was built so close it blocks the view of the beach. Great beach to walk. Several fun restaurants in walking distance with good food. We stayed in sunset. The room is very small but the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean except the floor turned our bare feet dirty.

Staff was very nice. Pictures of rooms on 3rd party reservation app did not match what the rooms currently look like. Rooms were outdated, lacked furnishings, remotes tonics did not work, dIRECTV had to be reset on both living room and bedroom TVs Lights out in hallways, closets. Most restaurants on the island closed during time of visit for repairs.

Wheezy stay

The room smelled of mildew and bleach. We only stayed a night, but we both coughed and sneezed all night. The toilet is ready to fall over it rocks so bad. The shower is full of mold and mildew. Just all around not good.

Cozy place that could use some improvements.

My stay was good. I have 2 major complaints about the hotel itself. 1. The lights on the deck are on all night and the curtains are worthless for keeping the light out. It was like my room was fully lit all night long. 2. There is no Ac control on the room. Luckily it was February and it was cool outside so I could leave the window open. I loved the coffee bar with the hot chocolate. It’s located perfectly so that is o oh a few minutes walk to multiple restaurants and the beach. The mattress was severely used and could use a replacement.
