Worth the Wait St. George Island is where modern luxury meets coastal living. This unique beachfront home on the East End brings mid-century modern style to the Forgotten Coast. The home offers panoramic views of the Gulf, stylish contemporary decor, a private boardwalk to the beach, and an amazing location close to the State Park and Island bicycle path. Local shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Island Lighthouse Museum are close by. This exquisite vacation home has been completely renovated with a new kitchen and bathrooms in 2023, and it provides a peaceful and private spot to relax just steps from the white sandy beach!
The exterior of this property offers a circular drive, concrete parking area, a park-style grill, an outdoor shower, and a private boardwalk through the dunes to the gorgeous sugar-sand beach. There is a large, covered porch overlooking the beach with a slight breeze under the home with comfy patio furniture for reading that good book or taking a nap.

The dramatic open staircase connects the ground floor to the sky-high lofted ceilings and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows of the main floor. Breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and the tasteful furnishings throughout give the home a sophisticated light and airy feel. The open plan provides lots of comfortable space including a large lounging sectional sofa for family and friends and a new, oversized flat panel TV connected to YouTube TV.

The new spacious kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with new stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, everything you need to prepare coastal feasts. The dining table and island counter stools offer plenty of seating at mealtime. A separate balcony off the kitchen makes al fresco dining a convenient option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

The master king bedroom features floor to ceiling windows fronting the beach and a private patio for sunbathing or stargazing. We offer a second king bedroom with en-suite bath, large screen TV and a third bedroom with a queen and additional twin bed, en-suite bath (or you can access off the hall).

We loved the house, the area, the privacy of the beach - it was all great! My only suggestion would be to address the A/C. Not being able to set it below 72 led to warm bedrooms, especially at night. If I keep my A/C below 72 at home, I should be able to while on vacation as well.

Breathtaking

We absolutely loved the ocean views from this rental, the comfort, decor and upscale finishes in bathrooms and kitchen. The porches on each side offer at least 1 shady outdoor space at all times. The AC maintained temperature well. If you're looking for a luxe, private, peaceful beachfront sanctuary, look no further.

Beautiful property just as the pictures show. In the checkin packet they need to let you know the lockbox is at the back door. The place is beautiful with the glass beachfront view we would stay there again maybe when it’s warmer

The house was PERFECT!! We loved everything about ALL of it. It was well equipped with ALL of the necessities in the kitchen and then some!! We bought a lime/lemon juicer and left it there for the next guest!! Everything was CLEAN, presentable and lovely. We promptly closed all of the shades when we left for the beach each day. The house still became HOT. My boys were in the room with 2 beds. That room never was cool for them at night. But the beds were super comfy!! Another suggestion would be to have the ceiling fans circulate MORE ! We turned a few from blowing up to blowing down to keep us cool. It did not make enough of a difference. We will definitely stay there AGAIN. AND - I have passed on the link to several friends/family!!!

Excellent location, extremely clean, & well-equipped

Our family stays at several beach locations throughout Florida over the course of the year. While we are residents of the state, we look for locations that are different from where we live. SGI is a quiet and non-commercialized beach town that is perfect if you're looking to get away from it all. This house was also perfect in every way. Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, and the view was amazing to say the least. You are literally right on the sand at one of the top beaches in the United States. Would highly recommend if you're considering booking in SGI and looking for a million-dollar view even while sipping your morning coffee or visiting with family in the living room. We would rebook this location again without any hesitation.
