We love this tiny character cottage, it's cozy and homely.
We love this tiny character cottage, it's cozy and homely. Welcome with small milk, tea and coffee. Perfect location for exploring St Ives on foot, literally straight out the door into the heart of the main attractions and beaches. It was well equipped with a good TV which I noticed other reviews said they had troubles so must of been brought recently, new comfy 2 seater sofa "photos need updating" a vacuum cleaner and iron in blanket box if you look. The bathroom is clever designed half sized tub with shower. A great handbook the owners have wrote all the information about places to visit and eat they recommend which was a nice touch. The mattress has a lot of springs worn and needs replacing and the cleaning was pretty bad, I found things in cupboard with food on andvstains, frozen food in freezer from maybe last visit and floor was very dirty. Parking is a bit of an issue all so, so make sure you pre book the "Island car park" £27 for a week I believe but beware leaving the car park... It gets busy and no allocated longstay spaces.. So it's pot luck if you get a space again! careful about the hot water too, it comes out literally boiling in the bath, perhaps for safety reasons that should be looked at. All in all we did love this cute little cottage and would definitely return. The positives far out weigh a few negatives.
What a lovely little cottage, very clean and cost. The bed was very comfy. The lounge was warm and inviting loved the little fairy lights. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Location is perfect we parked the car up for a week and left it, spent all week walking around our favourite place .

I always have a lovely week here it is my “home from home”. Close enough to central st ives but far out enough to be pretty quiet - a great base for my day hikes or on the bus or train to further afield!
