We had a great stay during the very hot UK weather. The cottage stayed comfortable and relatively cool though as it is well sheltered and shaded. Comfortable sofas and beds, well equipped kitchen, good water pressure for the showers and simple check in and check out process. A quick 5 - 10 min walk in to town and a moderate climb back up which wasn't too bad. Plenty of beaches, shops and bars near by and a great convenient location in St Ives to stay.
The only other thing to note is that the cottage is on a very narrow cul-de-sac street. Driving up is ok, but having to reverse back down can be tricky, especially if other cars are parked along the road. Parking is very tight, you have to mount the pavement at the front of the cottage. This could be very difficult if next door have their car parked there as well.
It is possible to fit a large full-size car, but it's tight, and you wouldn't want to be coming and going regularly as it's too much hassle. Once parked, we were happy to leave our car there for a few days until we went home so it wasn't too bad, but I think there should be clearer information / photos of the road and parking on the listing so people can be better informed before booking. Perhaps some additional info about nearby paid long stay car parks on the listing would also be useful in case people need to move the car frequently during their stay and instead want to park nearby for simpler access. This would give people all the info up front.
