Stella Maris the Guide Star of St. John. The villa is graced with; two bed/bath, central air conditioning. Stella Maris is a spacious well apointed villa, located on a residential street just up the hill from Frank's beach, only a 10 minute walk to Cruz bay shopping/dining. There is private parking for one vehicle if you choose to rent a car for your island excursions.
Cool off in the pool which is shared among the 6 units that are part of Palm Terrace villa residences after a wonderful day at the beach (Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Honeymoon, Hawksnest, Salomon are very popular) or hiking the many tropical trails in the amazing national parkland. Make dinner for your family and friends in the gourmet kitchen or use the poolside grill to BBQ. Freshen up and walk to town to enjoy the fabulous night life. When you are ready for peaceful solitude walk back to your quiet oasis. We provide 4 beach chairs/towels and a cooler. Stella Maris has the ingredients to be part of your vacation of a lifetime.

Our host Chris was very attentive to all our texts. Answers to our questions came within minutes. He also made suggestions that were very helpful. The condo was beautiful just as pictured. Was stocked with everything we needed for a day at the beach or cooking our meals. The condo was in walking distance(for us we love to walk) to the grocery stores. To the Virgin Island national Park welcome center and two trails. We were able to walk to downtown Cruz Bay to all the restaurants, so the location was amazing. The beds were kings and comfy The couch was large and comfortable. There were no negatives in relation to this VRBO stay! Carol M

Beautiful condo in a great location. Just a 10 minute walk to Cruz Bay. The condo has everything you would need for a great vacation. They even had 4 beach chairs, pool noodles and a cooler.

Clean, spacious, comfortable place. Easy walk to town. Easy parking. Great communication. Only improvements are the very slow/non-working internet and there were two coffee makers but no coffee. Would definitely stay again.

The property was immaculate. The pool was clean. The beds were comfortable. The Keurig broke the first day after we spent 60 on coffee, and the property manager brought us his personal Keurig for the week. It's walking distance to Cruz Bay but be prepared, it's steep and very hilly. The only issue we had that was never resolved was the WIFI. It worked, but it was so slow that we couldn't use any of the streaming services and the cable didn't work. But, we didn't travel to St. John to watch TV. Aside from that it was a great place.

Mixed review

I have mixed feelings about this VRBO. The good: the unit itself is very nice. The beds are great, bathrooms great, kitchen etc
 and it was all clean. I have no complaints about the interior of the unit. So if that’s what you’re looking for, then this is a great place.The bad: for the price, I expected a lot more from the pool area. We never even ended up using it because it just wasn’t clean. Even when they cleaned it, it wasn’t clean. I tried to clean it myself but ultimately, it just wasn’t worth the efforts
 the patio chairs are old and need replaced or at least a good cleaning
 The beach chairs offered are stored on the patio uncovered so they’re not something I was interested in using (they were of course dirty and salt water in the air doesn’t do favors for anything). That same patio has two chairs on it but they also needed a good cleaning. Basically, everything inside is fine, everything outside was less than stellar in my opinion.Hosts are responsive and kind, no complaints with the service either. Location is close to everything but if you have a vehicle just plan on tight parking (that’s the entire island though) Would I stay here again? That would completely depend on what else is available. I really like having private a pool to use so if I found something else with a pool, i would probably try that first.

Great location. Extremely close to town and walkable, some hills. The condo was clean and as described. Perfect for a family or a small group. Great location

Comfortable beds and a great location close to town. Walkable if you really want to but it is hilly. Parking is a breeze at the unit. It was great to meet the property manager at the unit when we arrived!

Accommodations were amazing. Beautiful, fully equipped, immaculate 2 bedroom condo within walking distance to Cruz Bay. Management company and owner extremely responsive .Only 6 ( very private) units in the building. I highly recommend Stella Maris

Cruz Bay Wonderful condo

We stayed at Stella Maris about a month ago for several days. We can’t wait to go back. This condo was perfect in every way. Super close to Cruz Bay and the water front restaurants, High Tide and The Beach Bar. You definitely could walk from the condo. We are seniors and we decided easier for us to take a vehicle. The condo was super clean! The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The living room and dining area were perfect for the four of us. The pool was right below us and was refreshing after a long day of site seeing. It was nice that someone before us had left a bunch of snacks and drinks in the fridge. If you are planning a trip to St. John, I definitely recommend that you stay in the Cruz Bay area. We stayed a week on the other side of the island in a villa, high up on a hill/mountain overlooking Coral Bay. Yes it was gorgeous. But we ended up spending too much time driving back to Cruz Bay to the restaurants or the North Shore Beaches. Next time we go, hopefully we will stay at Stella Maris again. Thank you Bridget for sharing your little piece of heaven.
