No wash cloths available. Staff said patrons were using them to clean their shoes and stopped using them. King bed is two twins pushed together creating center gap. Cup in bathroom was not sealed-a health code violation. Construction workers started before sunrise with loud talking and tools. Miserable experience. I won't be returning.

Very satisfied

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. I was glad there was an electric kettle so I could make a cup of coffee. There were also plates and cutlery. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I was very satisfied. And I loved that the room had air conditioning. It was great. I just think that there should be a clock in the room to ensure that I have the correct time and the TV has an issue. Watching programmes was not easy because some channels lost sound and although the picture was clear, it kept blinking. The screen would go black every couple of minutes. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and if I ever come back to Barbados the Meridian Inn would be my first choice of a place to stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the maid service was exceptional. They were always friendly and made sure the room stayed spotless each day. The staff in general were polite and helpful, and the kitchen area had all the basics needed for simple meals. I also liked that there were shops and restaurants nearby, which made it convenient. The only real issue was the shower, which stayed cold most of the time. Management explained that the water heater is located on the first floor and takes a while to reach the third floor. If that issue gets fixed, I would definitely stay here again.

I am extremely disappointed in the manner in which my incident was dealt with. That is, I slipped and fell as I entered the shower. The shower wasn't equipped with any non-slippage mat. Moment after my wife reported the incident to the Front Desk a mat was sent to us to be placed inside the shower. The incident was reported for a second time as we checked out. Upon my return to NY I seek medical attention, because my left side paining me. I reached out to Expedia for several days and I was told that the Hotel has no record of such incident.Really!!! Very disappointed!!

The room was very clean and housekeeping visited everyday. There were places to eat within easy walking distance. All appliances and amenties work. It is a safe and hospitable inn and I highly recommend it to independent travellers.

The staff were very polite and what I appreciated, the cleaners did not come banging on your door to service the room and inconvenience me. They were communicative as to what I may have needed in the room if not completely serviced. The location is really good nice slow walk along the gap with varieties of food available with lots of nightlife as well.
