I enjoyed my stay at south gap hotel! The staff for the most part were friendly, room was nice, grounds were pretty. I stayed on the ground floor things to note were I could hear the people in the unit above me which was extremely loud dragging of furniture all times of the day and into the evening. Our bathroom shower did have issues draining but that was fixed by a gentlemen in maintenance. I liked the fact check out time was 12pm, check in time is a bit late in the afternoon if you are planning for any activities. Overall I had a nice time there and definitely would like to be back and stay on a higher floor

10 out of 10 I definitely recommend. I am a Barbados citizen by descendent and go there often. I’ve stayed at South Gap once before, but this just might be my regular hotel. The staff is amazing, Tia and Sharika, Edward and every staff member were super friendly and extremely helpful and very personable! Thanks again! The hotel is spotless. The Sister that cleaned our room was phenomenal and so down to earth, thanks again Sis. The only drawback is I so wish that I could walk from my room into the beach, but a short walk down the gap and you are at the beach. My bday was celebrated with style and grace and the bottle of wine was well appreciated..thanks again South Gap…until next time! 😘

This beautiful hotel has amazing staff and a perfect location in the heart of Gap. There are two beaches within walking distance. The lovely pool area allows you to fall asleep while listening to the waves crash against the rocks.

Had an amazing stay, i was in a corner suite on top floor, amazing view of the ocean. Room had good air con and ceilings fan. Kitchen was really nice. Pool was clean and nice. The best part were the staff, really nice and friendly Couple minor things, toliet flush was temperamental (twice flush) sun lounges could do with replacing the cushions or slip covers. These are very minor elements to a perfect stay

This was the prettiest hotel on the street! Beautiful room, pool, deck and restaurant. Only downside was having to walk for 15 minutes to get to a beach. Better option pay a driver to take you to Carlisle Beach. Beautiful!

When I say the staff were 5 star, that really pertained to the front desk, the room cleaning staff, the general pool cleaning staff etc. and the attitude of all of them. However, the restaurant staff are seriously on Bajan time, easily distracted by friends etc. Not totally focused on the task I’m hand. While I would wholeheartedly happy to recommend the hotel that is an area that could use some work. Having said that, the food was good.

I took my son for his first birthday and we stayed at the south gap hotel. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff being super helpful. They provided a nice crib for him as we requested and even had welcome happy birthday balloons for him. Having a toddler who crawls around putting things in his mouth having a clean spqce was super improtant to me and thats what i got with this hotel. The pool was also so perfect as there was a shallow part i could let him play at without worrying too much. Each staff member we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. Id definitely reccomend staying here. Thank you so much!!

The apartment, staff, food were fantastic. Although situated on the busy St Lawrence Gap strip, there didn’t appear to be any noise transferred to the accommodation. As a woman travelling solo, I felt safe. This is a small hotel with, I believe 35 rooms, all of which had the view of the pool and the shore. The sounds of the sea lapping against the rocks at night was an absolute pleasure. My room was cleaned every day with towels etc replaced where necessary. There were at least 2 lovely beaches within 5 mins walk. The accommodation was room only but you have everything you needed to cook for yourself if you wished, or you could go down for something to eat in their restaurant. They were open from 7.30 for breakfast and up until 10 pm at night for lunch/snacks/drinks or evening meals. I loved it here and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for making my stay a memorable one.

The property was generally nice and clean, however there was a moldy smell in the room that was only alleviated by leaving the balcony door open. The moisture from the shower also caused the ceiling paint over the shower stall to fall..

This was a great place to stay in. Super clean, staff was amazing, location was amazing, view was beautiful. The only thing I would change is the bathroom shower door. The half-doors just don’t make sense to me. Water literally gets everywhere. The floor was always soaked, even though we had a floor towel down. This wouldn’t change my mind, however. I’d still stay here again.

The staff mostly was very nice. Had what you needed in kitchen area. Coffee maker etc. Great shower. It has a smaller than expected pool. There is no beach nearby. You would need to take taxi.The area is very noisy late at night from loud music If you purchase the breakfast plan you get a different menu from the regular menu. Anything else such as sides etc. you are charged extra for. The breakfasts we had were very good but limited. We took a bus to Speightstown. Don’t recommend . The buses were very overcrowded. People standing everywhere no where to sit. Very uncomfortable long ride. Barbados has beautiful beaches and the food at all the restaurants were good and in walking distance from hotel. Recommend Primo.
