There was construction going on. Nothing was mentioned on their site or any information from Expedia so you also receive a bad score! Although the construction is minor and temporary the signage of where to go was poor! Room seemed clean but different smell. I always carry room fresheners. However there was no hand soap to use after going to the restroom. There was no body wash which was discovered while husband was showering and the quality of the shampoo was terrible. Left a sticky residue in his hair. I contacted the hotel in regards to all this and were very apologetic. However they cannot issue and sort of credit for the inconveniences we experienced since using a third party booking site. I believe this will be the last time I do. Really didn't save anything! And had added aggravation which I am sure will not be addressed by Expedia!
I checked in late, but the room was still waiting and I actually got a free upgrade. Enterinf the property was a little inconvenient due to construction on the front side of the property, but it wasn't bad. The parking lot is extremely well lit. The room was very clean. The property is about a 10-minute drive from any kind of food, which isn' that bad, but don't expect to be close to much. All-in-all, it was a surprisingly nice place to stay.
Family overnight trip. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel is mostly renovated and looks great! The front of the hotel is closed off and under construction. Pool was small but adequate and well maintained. The kids loved it. The 24/7 ice cream and coffee bar were a huge hit! Very friendly staff. Especially Sammi at the front desk and the breakfast staff. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend and will visit again.
First impression, outside of building was clean but the front entrance was closed and caution taped off so we had to search for a door to enter. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean but had an old smell when air wasnât on. Air conditioning was very loud and woke me up many times every night. House keeping also came around to clean around 6-7pm which was unusual and inconvenient as we were already winding down for the day. Rooms were small and bed not very comfortable. Breakfast options were limited but decent and staff at breakfast very friendly. There is a coffee machine and ice cream station available 24/7 which was a cool feature. Pool area wasnât the cleanest and towels were not filled and restocked all day. Overall not a bad experience but for a little more, you could stay in a much nicer place.
When we arrived and checked in they gave us our room keys. Went to our room and couldnât get in. 3 trips to the front desk because our keys wouldnât work any time they told us that someone was still in the room and then gave us the room next to it. A waste of time and they didnât know they gave us an occupied room until I mentioned the hanger on the knob. We finally get in a room and the tv doesnât work. My husband calls and the woman working the front desk, Pearcy, decides she will just go ahead and answer the phone when we called for help with an attitude. My husband asked if there was anyone that could come up or tell us what to do. She kept telling him she wasnât authorized? He asked for the manager and again she rudely said that she couldnât get the manager. In the meantime Iâm trying to fix the tv because they clearly donât want to help. After figuring out how to reboot the tv and getting it going we told her and she sarcastically told him to have a good night then hung up. Definitely not a fan of the evening customer service they have. Otherwise a decent stay.
I have a really sensitive nose, and this hotel is the cleanest and best smelling hotel environment I have ever stayed in. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good as well.
Staff at the desk were extremely kind to us and our 2 young kids. We took advantage of the ice cream and nacho maker. We were only about 10 minutes from Grant's Farm. The kids loved the little pool.
My family stayed here for 3 nights. The location is between downtown St. Louis and Six Flags. It is more of an industrial area but there are a couple a places near to eat if you stay around the hotel. The hotel was super clean and newly renovated it seemed. They offered soft serve ice cream 24/7 and a nacho bar nightly from 5-7 pm. The breakfast was what most hotels have to offer with no complaints as it was kept clean and fresh. Overall this was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind driving 15 min to find attractions.
