As a guest of Cordova Inn, you'll find a terrace, coffee/tea in a common area, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. The front desk is open around the clock.
Parking is 2 city blocks away. It is a quaint old place which also means 3 stories, no elevators. There is a small âbarâ right inside the lobby, so when you go to check in everyone can stare at you.
No one there seemed too concerned about anything.
Iâve stayed here twice now. 2 and out.
Cute place at first but there a huge construction zone right next to it. Not a big deal - progress is a good thing. But checking in to our first room, the TV didnât work - 4 universal remotes later it still didnât work. Time for a new room. The next room the air didnât work. The next the air worked but was only a small shower and not the requested tub. Same with the next room. Finally, a room on the second floor with air and tub. After moving everything again we rested well watching Amazon Prime Movies. The bed was good.
In the morning, the tub was unevenly balanced so when standing in it to shower if you stepped forward it felt like the tub would fall over. âWhy not take a bath instead?â You might ask. Becuse thee stopped wouldnât fit the drain hole so ⊠no bath. Tiny pedestal sink with not much room for toiletries.
The Inn is located in the middle of everything downtown St. Pete with access to a lot including a great AMC theater. We had to park in a parking garage two blocks away - Cordova validated the parking which was nice.
It was an experience ⊠probably wonât return because at almost 60 we need accommodations that are easier. Maybe one day weâll try the boutique hotel thing again.
The room needs basic improvements, mattress, bathroom curtains and curtain rails. There is no daily cleaning and coffee is not replenished.
There is no dining room. There is a small bar, nice and with good service.
Parking is nearby, secure and included in the room rate. The hotel has 3 floors, there is no elevator and the staff is not flexible or helpful as we are elderly and there are no elevators and no help with luggage, they should consider placing us on the lower levels.
After 10:30 pm there is no reception but there is security and you enter with your room card.
The hotel is well located and within walking distance to Central Ave and Beach Dr.
An absolutely quaint boutique property that has wonderful staff. Ariel was extremely helpful and friendly, offered fantastic rest recommendation. Check-in was smooth, slept great.
Love the antique style of the hotel. Love all of the history and the bar in the hotel is amazing! Delicious drinks and great bartender and atmosphere! Only complaint would be the shower/bathroom was incredibly small and the blow dryer was so old it tripped the outlet. Overall we would stay here again bc the good was better then the little things listed.
Historic property in a great location. Large comfortable room. Reception was friendly and helpful. Thought the prices were comparable to others in the area. We could walk everywhere we wanted to in St. Pete and boy did we walk. My only criticism would be there was no breakfast available. The hotel had 3 floors and no elevator which I could see as problematic for some guests. We would consider staying here again.
Hotel was nice and very clean , but there was construction of their new hotel expansion next to us and the view was not nice. While it's a historic hotel the bathtub was difficult to get in because is antique. I also wish they had a morning coffee and pastries in the morning . Nice place though.
Great location and happy with room. Hotel staff did a good job, but customer service after is horrible. Parking is supposed to be included. We were billed by the garage for parking. I have called (got voicemail), I sent an email to the hotel, I sent an email to Hotels.com and I sent a txt. No reply on any. Mistakes happen, but itâs hard to go back when you feel like youâre ignored. Beware.
The property was old and tired no Elevator so be prepared to walk three stories. Staff was not friendly. There was mold in the bathroom along the tub area. Mattress was in poor condition. No room darkening curtains very noisy spot. Would not stay there again.
