Not as nice as others we’ve stayed at

This was our family spring vacation trip. We come to the gulf coast sometimes multiple times per year and we love it. We always rent a condo. We were really disappointed in this condo, especially at the price point it’s at. Upon arrival we discovered that unlike other condos, this one is wide open to the general public for both the pool/hot tub and also to both entrances to the condo. The parking garage is extremely difficult to park in if you have a large SUV, the condo itself had sand on the floor (beach condo..I get it), there was a mildew smell throughout the unit and black moldy spots on the ceiling of the main bedroom, there were many small details that should have been easily fixed had the unit been carefully maintained. The fridge was dirty, the windows were dirty, the sliding glass door does not open to the beachfront (it’s on the side), there was hair on the shower wall and in the sink, there was an exposed electrical outlet duck taped near the ceiling in the kitchen, there was bad paint touch up’s completed, the unit was not decorated in a Beach type theme, the furniture was worn down and gave an overall junky feel to the unit, the closet door in the main bathroom was broken, the toilet paper holder in the second bath was broken, the supplies that were provided were not enough (dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, etc.), and were dollar store brands, there were no trash bags, the vacuum cleaner was not working,etc. the owner was responsive but I would not stay here again

Gulf view, not gulf front balcony

The condo unit itself is nice. The size is great, the amenities were nice. The kitchen and living area are very nice and updated. The master bathroom is also nice and updated. The guest bathroom seemed to have some mold issues along the shower. We were there a few nights when it was very windy. There was a strange rattling/buzzing sound coming from the railing outside of the master bedroom. There must be something loose, hopefully the homeowner can take care of that. The most disappointing things about this complex is the number of kids in the pool, and the lack of direct golf front views. There is a cement wall next to the balcony that prevents a direct golf front view.There was also quite a bit of sand on the floors when we first arrived. I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with all of the sand, but it just seemed a little bit excessive. The ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer was having issues, but that’s not a big deal. Lots of people were playing pickle ball, it would’ve been nice if the unit provided Pickleball equipment. The beds were mediocre. Not super comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved this location, i't's close to lots of fun activities in the community, as well as lots to do on the property, including tennis/pickleball, swimming in the heated pool, enjoying the hot tub, and of course just a few steps to the beach! You can take the trolley to explore Maderia Beach and the boardwalk. Our group found great coffee shops, ice cream shops, restaurants, and an awesome bakery within walking distance. The propery itself is beautful and well maintained. Very clean, and includes everything you need for your stay. We definately plan to return!

Surpassed Expectations!

We were truly blown away with our rental and the entire experience. Dan is fantastic, communication is clear and accurate. The property is in a beautiful and quiet location, with quick access to shopping and nightlife if you desire. I am looking forward to our next trip. 😉

Perfect!

We have been staying at the Reef Club for 12 years or so. This is the nicest unit ever. The units we have rented previously needed serious upgrading and cleaning but this one is immaculate and we will rent this unit when we return. This unit has been upgraded and has everything that you could possibly need, from kitchen utensils and supplies to the beach toy storage locker downstairs. It was such a surprise to unload our car and find a large tin of delicious homemade brownies on the dining room table. I just can’t say enough good things.

Beautiful condo in a beautiful location!

Cant say enough good things about Dan and Lily the owners and the unit we rented from them. The place was immaculate! Everything we needed for our stay was there. It was clean and fresh when we arrived. Nicely renovated compared to the other units we've stayed in at the Reef Club. Owners contacted us a couple days into the stay to make sure we were satisfied and everything was good. We had a great experience,definetly hope to stay there again!
