Pros: The room was clean, freshly painted, and updated. The kitchen was nice and well stocked with kitchenwares, and the in-room washer & dryer was great! The balcony view from the living area and the bedroom was ocean, sky, beach and pool. Beautiful!
Cons: the AC units were loud. They sat low on the wall and vented to the balcony so sitting on the balcony was not that pleasant. The bedroom unit was maybe 2 feet from the bed and was literally in your face while laying down. We wedged a pillow between the mattress and night stand to create a barrier. We were in the middle building that overlooked the pool. The security light on the adjacent building was blinding at night time. It appeared to be angled toward our building so night time views were drowned out by that light. Bummer!
No music was allowed at the pool. You could bring your own but had to use ear phones/buds. The facility did not have music either. Food and drinks were allowed at the tables by the pool but you couldn’t take your drink to the pool with you even if it was plastic & lidded. That was a bummer for an adults only place.
The king bed was very firm, had high spots across it. Pressure points in my hips and shoulders were achy every morning. Pillows and bedding was nice, but the mattress was quite hard and rolly.
We are not party animals, but would have liked more excitement. Quiet, very low key, no bar, no music. Some music and pool-side drinks by responsible adults would be better!!
