Yes to both only complaint was the recycle was never dumped the 7 days that we were there. I understand there was a holiday, but other arrangements should’ve been made. It was a disaster down there trying to get things put in receptacle. Even the garbage was only dumped once.

Great view of beach & easy access to the beach. Comfortable couch and kitchen had all the amenities. The bathroom was dated, but did have great water pressure. Could use a ceiling fan or tower fan in the bedroom, as it gets hot at night and the box fan wasn't enough.

This is a relatively outdated unit that needs some minor updating to bring it into 2025. The location of this unit is WONDERFUL, with close walking access to John's Pass area (shopping/dining) and direct beach access. The check in process is acceptable (you must go the rental office at a different site first), but still an extra step when you are looking to get your vacation started. The condo was relatively clean, but in need of a refresh cosmetically. The showerhead was covered in a black substance, and simply needs replaced. The view from the balcony is great, but there is a public lot directly below it. You must also return your key at the conclusion of your stay, again just an additional inconvenient step.Overall, would I stay here again: YES, but with a few improvements this space could be awesome.

Awesome Stay

Love the access directly to the beach for that price was a steal. If I knew for sure we were coming next year I would re book a year out each year we come to Florida. Has everything we needed for our stay and enough space for our family.

This unit had everything we wanted/needed and was very comfortable. Great view of the Gulf and easy access to everything, especially with John's Pass just across the street. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

It was what we were expecting. However the bedroom stayed hot. The a/c did not cool it well. Would have been nice to have at least 2 beach chairs. There were no local channels on the tv. Overall it is a great location to beach and Jon Pass.

Mostly it was great. Problem with A.C. though. Instructions say DO NOT set temp lower than 72 which was fine except at night the bedroom was not cool enough - made it hard to sleep. One night I slept on the foldout couch just for the cooler temp. Also, instructions say to get key from the box on the wall, but it wasn’t clear they were talking about the TRS office - not the building you are staying in! Made checking in very frustrating.

Great location

Great location and nice clean pool! Room could use a keypad lock as the old locks were a pain and you had to carry a key everywhere, but great location and nice to not have to drive anywhere besides to get groceries the first day, everything is right there tons of restaurants and shops!

Great Location!

Wonderful location to walk to bars, shops, restaurants. Unit was very spacious and comfortable. Great views of the beach. Added bonus of having the parking directly below the unit with an easy entry in and out.

Location! Location! Location!

Always a perfect location. Walk across the street to Johns Pass. Beaches are not crowded and crystal clear. Many things to do here. Surf song is an older property but you can’t beat the location and price. Condo was clean, although there was no hair dryer as stated and no soap to do dishes (by hand or dishwasher). Otherswise a very nice experience and would definitely be back.

What we liked and didn't

*The clientele was good. Staff excellent, especially the young man working maintenance. He was especially outgoing. The grounds were clean. However, everything was really run down and worn out. Linens poor quality. For what you pay more is expected.

Needs minor cosmetic repairs

There was some minor plaster issues that need to be taken care of, along the tiles of the bathtub the plaster is soft. Not much room for groceries in cupboard space, otherwise this perfectly met our needs especially the location.
