This hotel was a highlight of our trip! Very quaint, delicious breakfast, quiet, a beautiful outdoor area where you could sit and a refreshing swimming pool. Only a 10 minute walk into the lovely central area of St. Remy. We totally loved our stay at this hotel!

Hotel Canto Cigalo - Gem of St.-Remy-de-Provence

Hotel Canto CIgnato is a great find! It was the perfect spot to use as a base for our 3 days in the area right around St.-Remy-de-Provence. The Hotel was an amazing value! Everything we needed and then some!

An absolute gem of a property providing a perfect base for exploring Provence. A lovely pool, great breakfast, authentic and rustic feel. Quiet location for relaxing but a quick stroll into the village of St Remy for evening meals and shopping. Ample parking.

I was at festival d’avignon but I strongly de-recommend to select a hotel that far. I though by looking at the map that it was feasible. And then I was trapped. The owner did not at all agree that I leave to a hotel closer to Avignon after the first night.

Elegant location

Wonderful place with very warm reception from host. Charming location. Very nice breakfast. Room spotless and simple. Only concern is access if you have lots of luggage, as you need to carry from parking area and then climb stairs in inn. But definitely would stay there again. Very elegant inn.

Je n'ai pas trouvé auprès de l'hôtel, lors de mon départ le bon accueil que l'on m'a vendu dans bons nombres de commentaires... Le café est innommable... vraiment pas bon, j'ai souhaité avoir un double expresso et on m'a servit une soupe de café, j'ai fais une deuxième demande et de nouveau on m'a servit une soupe... Les chambres sont plutôt confortables et l'hôtel est bien situé pour profiter de la ville... Mais je suis sûrement tombé un jour ou la réceptionniste n'était pas de bonne humeurs?

Hotel agréable avec un personnel distant

Nous sommes arrivés le soir avec tous les codes envoyés par mail pour rentrer dans l’hôtel. Une personne nous a appelé avant pour s’assurer que nous ayons tous ces codes. Nous avons apprécié cette démarche mais nous avons été surpris de n’avoir personne à l’accueil de l’hôtel le soir à 20h. Chambre confortable et lieu agréable. N’ayant pas pris de petit déjeuner le lendemain, l’accueil du matin a été froid et distant lorsque nous avons rendu les clés. Dommage !
